I wasn't sure it was going to work because the steam login popup was in the desktop. So i just followed your directions and it worked anyway. Thanks again for the asist Dale.
Crazy how many updates keep coming out for ams. I will try to stay on top of their updates a little better especially closer to race day.

I have not been on the track yet, and probably wont have time before the race to get any practice in or make a setup, so I may just skip this one.
It works for Chris, but never for me.

Was good fun Dan. Shame you didnt showed up. That would made 12 drivers.
Good racing as usual with you guys. I had fun, in race 1 fighting Chris and Ricardo to get the lead back, before blow up everything when I realized I was short on fuel. Congrats to Ricardo "tiu" Campos for the Win!! Race 2 a bit better for me. After a poor start, a beautiful T1, I took the lead in the early stages and controlled the pace from there. Looks like some good fights everywhere, which is nice.
It takes a bit of practice and time to understand those cars, but once you understand how to drive it and how the tires work, is so much fun.
I hope we can continue the good vibes.

Good fun last night. Good scrap in R1. Good launch, and was able to follow Ricardo past Angelo to the inside of T1. I knew it was only a matter of time until Angelo regrouped and got back by, so I decided to try putting some heat to Ricardo and try to force a bobble. I was able to get alongside a couple times, but couldn't make it stick. Angelo got alongside during one of my pass attempts on Ricardo, and kicked me down to 3rd. From there it was just me chasing Ricardo (until Angelo had his moment late in the race). Happy with a 3rd place in a sprint race, as the short races are usually my weakness.
Killer launch in R2, went from P3 on the grid and shot a gap between Angelo & Ricardo to getting my nose ahead into T1. I wasn't however able to convert on the outside of Ricardo and ended up slipping back to 3rd as Angelo slipped back by. I could've forced the issue, but chose to back out and just fall in line as I didn't want to abuse the tires to hard too soon. We had a 4 ship tow for the early stages w/ Jeff finding some pace and hanging onto the tail. The 4 ship turned into a 3 ship when Ricardo lost the rear out of T4 and nosed off the inside wall. I didn't know if I was going to have anything for Angelo, so I was content cruising around in 2nd. However about midway through the race I swung a little wide setting up for T3 to get a nice arc through the corner when I dropped the LR into the dirt. Went for a spin and watched Jeff go by...fortunately I was able to keep off the wall though. Spent the rest of the race balancing chasing Jeff down, without burning off the tires. Caught up with a couple laps to go. He graced me with a bobbled T6 which gave me a run up to the Corkscrew. I knew it was the only chance I was going to have w/ only 1.5 laps left so I shoved it up the inside on the run up the hill. Secured the position on turn-in to the corkscrew. I was able to keep it on the track for the final lap to finish 2nd. Happy with the result, but still a bit miffed at my mistake as I may have been able to keep Angelo in check...even if I didn't have anything for him.

I was really happy to see a grid with double digits again. I had a great time last night back in the V8's. Race 1 was ok for me but race 2 was a lot of fun. First few laps I was between Dale and Rich and that was making me sweat. I had a bobble at turn 5 going up the hill and that let Rich by. I was able to save it and keep close to Dale and Rich. The rest of the race for me was spent trying to keep close to Dale, which I was able to do but I was never close enough to try for a pass.
Thanks for coming out guys and see you in 2 weeks at Eastern Creek. I should be able to get the server up today.
