When Jason left the game it caused myself and Scott's game to lockup. A possible workaround could be to ask any drivers leaving the race to just park in their pit stall and leave the game running until the race is over. Are you available tonight JImmy? We could do a short race with 10 AI, do a pit stop, etc and see if the scoring is correct. That repeated yellow flag concerns me tbough...

Just for the record, I exited verses having an issue. Got wild, ate some wall...stalled the car. ha..ha...ha.
Was wondering why Ricardo was swerving and just generally not driving as well as I've seen in the other races...hehe, now I know.
Anyways. Seems my exit did indeed lock up the game for others. Apologies for that, had I known that would happen I'd have parked in the pits and waited till it was over. But then, what of a disconnect? I'd say not really a solution at all. And, on some tracks, if you simply park in the pits and leave it there the car will roll off on it's own. I've yet to find a way to stop that. I endurance race, sometimes alone in some 6 hour deals...wanted to be able to break at times and leave the car like that. On a track without a level pit area, only solution I found was go in my garage stall and bump the wall to let it sit (else it rolls off, and potentially out on to the course, depending on the layout of pit lane)
Watkins did act weird....I created a race weekend with AI a few days prior the race and it acted strange then too. The repetitive yellow used to be seen in the rF version of this track that this conversion comes from (I think it was...wherever it was originally converted from, it was the same with some rF versions and I remember we had some issues with that one too, but was mostly pace car related, I think...it's been a while)
As far as I know, there is no other Watkins for AMS up to AMS standards. And, I've been looking for all the AMS stuff I could find lately for other reasons.
Sorry I locked you guys up though. Not sure I had any choice in the matter (besides STAY ON THE DAMN TRACK, YOU IDIOT!...lol)...but still sorry anyways as I'm near certain my exit caused that lock up.

Jason, I have tested two other versions of Glen and they are horrible. Unfortunately, tracks for the AMS of good quality similar to the originals, only the tracks of Patrick Giranthon are reliable ,,,
If I may a suggestion, if we need to replace the track, we have good quality options in Patrick's package and they are good for SuperV8. => Melbourne, Easter Creeck and Queenzland. (For me, In this order)
It's a shame because Glen is a wonderful track, but with a bug there is no way.
* If you want to test, in this link, you will find both versions. Visually, I did not like it, but if they run without a bug ,,, it's up to you.
=> Forget this link.
Edit. *** It seems to me to be the same track in older version.

Scott and I did a 5 lap race with AI and everything looked OK to me. Scott thinks his HUD showed a lap down but scoring is correct. I didn't see any yellows other than the one I caused.
Maybe the update helped?

I did a 15 minute race and a 30 minute race with 14 AI and never got a yellow flag during either race. Maybe the update fixed something but who knows. I'll keep testing and see what happens.

Maybe the update helped? I have that all the time, HUD showing me a lap down even when I'm not. Noticed it ever since I started dabbling in AMS. Maybe I'll mention it on the Reiza forum, see if anything comes of it. It'll show me a lap down, yet all the other split timing is correct and it scores correctly in the end, like you said. So, it's some simple little thing with no real bearing on the racing (just annoying if one uses that split timer for reference sometimes)

Hello everyone!! I will for sure be at this race and will try and drag Hunter along as well. I had some stuff go down in my personal life that kind of put me out of commission for a while, but its time to get back to doing the things I love!

I'll have to pay more attention but I think there are two ways that lap info is displayed. One place shows you the race lap (i.e., the lap the leader in on) and another shows you the laps you have completed (so if you're part way through Lap 9 it will say Laps 8). If AMS is the same as rFactor in this way, there's also an INI option to change how laps are displayed.

It'll show me a lap down to the car ahead even when we're on the same lap and there are just ahead of me, haven't crossed the line, or I'd understand what you're saying and why that might be the case. I'll have to dig in that ini, see if I can adjust something. If not, no big deal to me. Just one more reason to keep my eyes OFF that damned split timer and ON the road! (I often get distracted by all the info on screen, catch myself watching it too much)...so this could be a good thing, for me anyways....lol

I did more testing and couldn't trip up the scoring system so at this point it looks like we're good to go.
