I still don't click with this track but thanks to my meeting cancellation I'm in 4th in points instead of about 13th which I was expecting to be up until last week.

This was one of the most challenging tracks so far. Everyone seemed to have done a great job though! I was very concerned going in. I'm only getting like 2/3 brake and it's really throwing me off. Otherwise, I think I could have got that 13! Fanatec is sending me a new load cell, hopefully I'll have it before the next race. Also, props to the new guy, Ed! He did an awesome job on such a tough track. Seems to be a great guy too! Welcome aboard, you're hooked now!

Agreed! Ed did a great job on his first outing with GBR and hope to see more of him (you) with other mods!
Cheers!

Helluva race in the second one for me. I said hello to the new guy after trying to get out of Smok3y's way (sorry Ed) and then brain farted and followed smoke into the pits (my teammate) only to see him take up our team spot. Whoops!?! It's too bad as well as I felt like I was just figuring out my line and had caught up to seahawks and F1 only to lose that ground with just bad luck. So back out on track after my proper second pit a lap later I battled bumper to bumper with Jarhead right to the very last corners it seemed. I haven't raced that close with anyone yet. He was a mile wide and I could not see daylight around him. Every time I thought there was room there he was pulling up in the side windows.
I had a blast and we even inside outsided each other a few times trying to find a place to make the passes stick. Totally awesome, that's why I'll make this race any time I can. Thanks everyone.

It sure was some great racing. I was kind of worried the way everyone was talking about the track. I did roll my car and went off the track when I first started practicing, but once I got the track figured out and learned to stay off the curbs, it wasn't so bad.
1st race I blew one corner, lost a bunch of places and had to battle my way back to a top 10 finish.
2nd race I was battling Kelly for a few laps, then after Brent's pit stop, I got in front of him, but just barely. We went bumper to bumper for the rest of the race. I was sweating and wore out by the finish. We traded paint a few times, but always stayed on track. That was some of the best racing I have had here at GBR. Thanx Brent.
Really impressed with the new guy Ed. He ran a clean race and stayed on the lead lap in the first race, something I didn't do. I think he is hooked and will be back for more.

had a great race today had alot of fun battlin with F1 and was lucky to sneak past both times Ha, the same thing happened in both races... I got a gap on you then my fronts got too hot and I lost front grip for 5-6 laps which let you catch up and pass. Watching the gap coming down was pretty intense though... I'm generally great at tire management but I was pushing too hard and didn't want to slow down at all.

Race 2 I was harassing Hawks and you were about 2.75 seconds back. I was just waiting for Hawks to slip up (which really means waiting for his kids to distract him) and I made the mistake... I hit one of the smaller purple curbs and got into a lock-to-lock wobble. I had to lift and brake to stabilize the car. I lost at least a full second and likely 1.5 seconds in that one corner. That pretty well set me up to get passed by you.

Great race last night. I still love the track, I just wish I was faster at it. I did feel like I hit a rhythm during the second race.

Hell Craig, you didn't do that badly. You were glued to my bumper for a while. Hell it took me a few laps to get around you after I recovered from my early incident.

Yeah, that is about the time I started to feel a rhythm. It helped greatly to chase you around the track, and get better lines. I got my best time, a low 17, while chasing you. Of course, I have been driving this track for at least 9 years, since GT4 was released in 2004.
