Jarhead, I apologize for the contact in the chicane that caused us both to crash. I cut the inside to close, caught the grass with my left front and it tossed me around and into you. I did wait until you got underway again but I feel bad about the subsequent damage to your car.

On the blue flags: Even though I set the PLR file, as soon as I start the server, it switches the blue flags back to 7 so there must be some other file overwriting the PLR. I've tested it 3 times now and each time, the setting goes from 1 to 7. I'll investigate further to get it resolved.

Tony, I'll go through the telemetry of the race, find out your position when you were DQ'd and award you points accordingly provided the GBR Stewards are cool with that (they rule all those power mad dictators! )

Reversing Tony's DQ is fine with me. He was unfairly penalized according to the flag rules as we understood them.

Sounds good, I believe Tony was running 8th or 9th, either in front or behind Sheldon.

Met my goal of running a clean consistent race. I was shooting for a podium, as I felt I had the pace to get the car there, if I could keep it clean. After all the pit stops I was surprised to find myself only 5 seconds behind Boza. I would eventually whittle the gap down to 1.5 seconds, when it would sort of stabilize. I was actually content to finish second, and bring home a Mazda 1-2. With a lap and a half to go I saw a yellow flag approaching the sweeper after the chicane. Saw a bunch of smoke, so I rolled off the throttle to survey a path through.....and there was Boza sitting up in the grass on the outside of the corner! Not how I was hoping to take the win, I was actually looking forward to a nice last lap battle. But I'll take them when I can get it. I expect to see Boza on top of the podium during this season. He's got that Mazda figured out. Glad you were at least able to recover for 2nd. We still got that Mazda 1-2.....which is probably good after all the trash talking. ;D

I just checked with my server and the setting sticks at 1 even when I switch the track to Watkins Glen. The only thing I can't check is if the Mod is overwriting the PLR (which it really shoudn't) because I don't have NAGT on there.

Well now I'm confused as hell. It didn't stick 3 times in a row. I again edited the PLR, started the server and now everything is fine. I've done that about 5 times now and its sticking. WTF! I was comparing it with the Enduracers server and that one is no issues.

I will make sure that I check the server the day of the race from now on just to make sure cause I'm scratching my head right now. See my avatar? That is me!!

I had a similar issue trying to get the RFM file to load the proper pace car in vhr. what I want that have to do with create a new r f m file. all I did was open notepad copy and paste everything from the 1 file into the new 1 change the settings I wanted and then named it accordingly so that it matched what was in the mod then I took that file out and replaced it with the new 1 that I changed. Every thing worked after that. Dunno if that will help.

Sorry I had to bail guys. I had good pace, then took too much speed into the 2nd to last turn and into the dirt I went and slammed into the wall (stupid mistake). After I repaired my car in the pits, I had run a couple laps then my wife and kids walked in (I've been gone since Monday). Youngest started hugging me and around I went again. Race Over.

I'll also look intot he mod as well Kelly. See if there is a set multiplayer to type of thing. The pace car thing drvoe me nuts, spent tons of hours going through plr and rfm files...so kinda know what to look for now. LOL I don't worry about it so much in my mods cause I have an anti lapping rule to keep folks even and have cautions so it never been an issue for me, but i'll see what up with this one.

Good racing last night guys. I really like this mod. @kelly, no problems on the incident, I know it wasn't intentional and you did let me get going so no harm done. The damage was minor and didn't affect my lap times.

I was hoping for a podium and trying to hold off Kelly. He finally got by me cleanly with a few laps to go so I came away with 4th. I'll take it as I didn't have much practice and switched cars right before the race.

I really liked the Challenger, but just couldn't handle that cockpit view. It felt like I was sitting in the back seat even with the seat moved all the way forward.
