Practice server is up with 75% damage on. Please let me know if you get a mismatch as I'm not 100% sure if the version on the server is the same in the download links (it should be though). This will be my first outing in the Ecoboost livery. The Froot Loops car is getting parked for a few races.

Note that T6 is calling Spaz... He won't be answering. Remember he doesn't do V8SC anymore.

Note that T6 is calling Spaz... Ha ha you are a funny one.... But Jarhead is right. My season in V8 is over. The increased damage took the fun factor away for me (and that's just me) I know it has added an extra edge of competition for you guys and that cool. That just my deal. I'm not after that sort of realism. V8's have become like what the S and R class races were like over at Forza. Couple folks spending countless hours turning laps to find the extra 10th of of a second and there is an incredible division in the field for those that haven't. That's why I always raced C class or lower in Forza, it offered better racing in my mind, or I guess offered more of what i was looking for in my online gaming. Causual, drop in fun. We have great numbers for the V8's so that's awesome as well. But ya, 75% damage and the continued requests for PTT have taking the original fun out of them ( I mean no disrespect either. With how hard you have to concentrate now not to make even the slightest error I would want it [PTT] too) rFactor is way better and more realistic, racing wise then Forza. We have other mods that we run that offer that edge of excitement and competition without terminal consequences for one mishap or loss of concentration from a good joke. This is still a social outlet for me. It's still about jumping on and having fun. Everyone has a different feeling as to what that (racing fulfillment) entails and the changes in the v8's detract from my thoughts on it. I know I don't want to be the one to ruin someones night , after they have worked all week on a setup or practising, only because I break concentration and bump them off track and into a wall and their race is done. Please don't hear this as a call to change things. It's GBR's premier series, has grown leaps and bounds and IS the reason this group has grown as large as it has. The best part about that is that we now have enough folks to run other venues consistantly and there's now something to suit everyone (almost ) so there's alot of great series to run. We came here for simulation and the V8's are getting as close to that as possible, they have just gotten closer to that goal then I willing to or am comfortable with wanting to partcipate in at this time. Again, that is just my personal view and what i want to get out of my couple hours of racing. everyones mileage differs

hey spaz i agree with the fun bit i still want a laugh etc while im racing V8s this is why i hate PTT i wanna chat, laugh all that jazz. and i know i would never be serious enough to worry about being taken out by you accidently. the 75% well that sorta killed some of the fun for DRMs for me they are too fragile i think

Ya it's an each to their own type thing and that cool and it not a point of being too serious, I just know I don't take it all that serious (I mean I almost look for what corner i gonna roll on first thing , then try to learn to avoid that lol), and man i would feel like a jackass if ( and prolly would) take out someone that that has put alot of time and effort into the week's event. the lesser damage wasn't as big a deal as a fella could still make repairs and wind up competitive. Just now, if it goes bad...well they done. and i just personally don't have the right to ruin someones night like that. This is our top teir race. I'm not naturally gifted or don't have the equipment others have to do get the feel of the car/track quickly. And i honestly don't have a whole week to dedicate and practice on it. I got other mods that appeal me, league i run and videos to work , on top of daily actual real life commitments.. so just comes down to prioritizing i guess..lol
