Thanks again Stinky. The GBR/2O2P GTO will be making it's debut this Friday night during the R2P Fabcar/NAGT race at Pukekohe.

Cool deal!! You'll have to post a replay of the race, I'd love to see the car on the track!

I'll see if I can get a crappy YouTube video on my iPhone after the race. I don't have any screen capture hardware, editing software, nor have I been able to take screenshots. Pretty much SOL for me in the media department. Can't even paint my own cars. Damn near worthless on the PC.

I'll be in that race. I can handle the replay for Stinky.

Season 27 is fixing to get underway. I think I'm going to opt for a bit more horsepower this season in an effort to try to run a little quicker. Looking at P/W numbers, while the GTO is 200 lbs lighter, it's down 30-50hp to the Corvette, Viper, Skyline and doesn't have the AWD pull off the corner like the Volvo. It's probably a competitive car around a more technical circuit, it's got a crutch on the more open circuits we tend to run in Fabcar/NAGT. The Aston is a little heavier than the GTO, but still lighter than some of it's rivals (very close to the Corvette), and is sitting at 546hp, vs 497 of the GTO.
Anyone have any interest in a doing a #135 GBR/Basherboards/Torn TV Aston Martin for the GT class? If not, no worries.
No set deadline, I can upload the skin anytime, when/if it's ready.

Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe even #1 as I am the defending GT champion.

I have an idea for it that might work. Let me look at the template tonight to see how easy it is to work with.
The Ferrari 275 was a bitch because of how the skin wrapped over the car model. Those bulbous/swoopy bodies are tough. I had to warp and stretch parts of the logos in some areas but not others.
If the Aston skin is easier to work with then I can whip something nice up for you.

Sweet, thank you sir. It doesn't need to be for tomorrow's race. Whenever.

Check that. Make it a Corvette. After driving almost everything, it's the most enjoyable to drive.

Couple of changes to come... I'll put the car number on the rear like the Corvettes in the game (I checked and it's the right side) and I'll fix that paint under the spoiler.
