TCM - Round 7 Thunderbolt Raceway

I encountered a situation where my 1st lap out of the pits wasn't counted. I did go quite far off into the grass so there may be a bug here like Imola. After that the laps were timed properly. It's too late to change the track so we'll keep our fingers crossed.

If you want to qualify then get a lap in today!

I think I ran into the same issue Dale, we'll have to see how it shakes out, the track's pretty fun though, it'd be a shame to switch just like it would have for imola

I think it's something around where Smokey crashed after the race. If you watched him, his car was teleporting from the fence to the side of the track and back over and over.

I suspect of one drives through a point in the grass near there then the lap isn't counted. It didn't happen to anyone in the race today but we should think about not using this track again. Did something odd happen to Boza on the main straight?

From the comments on rFC, it seems like the guy that created the track didn't quite finish it so maybe there's a hidden issue here.

Great fun, looks like Helios and I battle whenever there is a touring car involved and it is always a gas. Manager to get two secs off my previous time in the race as well. Till the next time Helios!

It was fun. That M3 was tricky off throttle. Sorry again about the tap. Definitely had our share of battles throughout the race. Can't wait for the next one.

Next up in the Bastos rotation...the fire breathing Sierra! ;D

ya I didn't realize you were in the same car as me helios I woulda sent ya my setup a coupla different settings made it better off throttle but what an awesome car for controlled drifts though ;D

Yeah it felt like my car got airborne It only happen that one time though. Congrats on the win btw.

Thanks. I had no quali pace and was worried how the race would go but did have luck one my side (Smokey's tire error, I didn't pick up any critical damage when Smokey went all jailhouse on my butt and then remembering to turn off damage when I pitted).

Speaking of Smokey's tires, now I know why he was closing on me so damn fast for a while.

You guys were eating me alive in that twisty section but there were a few corners I had the edge. It was enough to level out the lap times once I got a piece of track to myself and we weren't tripping over each other.

We should stop using this track then. That's two issues with it.

Map some damn keys, man! You always want to have the option of changing your strategy on the fly.

Ah if I'd got my line right I wouldn't have had to do that slight lift, so six of one half dozen of the other.

Ya im gonna have to hook back up my old G27 shifter but I think im gonna try & work out how to just have it as a Button box (remove all the shifter section) as all I want is buttons from it.

about me tyres I do realise now why they went off so hard in the first stint they went from good to ugly in like 1 lap lol after I realized that I had to drive to keep em last longer
