Good fun tonight. Thanks dale for hosting. Apologies if i was aggresive tonight. Just got in the "frame of mind" of the series. Actually i'm so used to Yas and where my toss points where on the car i forgot to account that other cars were...where i was trying to be (i'd have/do been more reserved if it was an actual series/points race). Still not happy about the fwd i had though...might try the bimmer for the next one...Sorry had to bail so fast too, looked over at the time and it was 8:46. I was late for picking my wife up at 8:45 that was 10 minutes away...needless to say she was late coming out fo work so it worked out perfectly...

Had a blast with these cars. Thanks for hosting Dale. Had some great battles in Race 1 with multiple drivers. Had F1 and Kurupt on my arse and made a couple mistakes and they took advantage. Had an exciting, back and forth last lap trying to chase down Kurupt.

Fun cars, easy to jump in and drive without much practice and made for some great racing.

Thanks for hosting F1, I had a lot of fun with these cars!!! Yeah too bad you lost connection cause we were having a nice race. That Cruze has some get up coming out turns😳. Next race I think I'm going to try the Volvo if its ok.

Perhaps Spaz's 'toss' technique is the clue... I did try later in the races to just jam the wheel over in some of the corners and it did seem to work , well at times, clearly I need practice at this

For some reason the WTCC cars in Race07 work a lot better for me, I think there that I may try to toss the car into a corner or two. But it seems to feel a lot more natural to me in that game to do it.

What I do is lift the throttle to get the car to rotate, then my theory for FWD is to point the wheels where I want the car to go and let the tires pull me through.

This mod totally reminds me of my '02 GTi. The thing is an understeering pig... it will always understeer at the limits. Hell, it will understeer below the limits. But what it won't do it react to "extra" steering input without understeering more.

That was my problem in race 1 and the first half of race 2, I was trying to drive the car like the V8's, smooth and steady. That got me into the .10's, halfway through race 2 I started pushing it, tossing it in to the corners and drifting it just a bit to get on the gas faster, front tires seemed to last longer and my times dropped down in the .5-.6 range.
So next race, I'm just gonna let it hang out and see what happens.
Also, I'm not gonna try to keep out of the way like I did last night, it cost me to many positions, and everyone still bumped me around ;D
