I placed the files from Ambient and Secondary folders (Hawks rFactor Quiet Sound.rar) into GameData\Sounds\Ambient and GameData\Sounds\Secondary folders in my Enduracers mod. Also did the GameData\Sounds\PIT, but that did not already exist in Enduracers so may want to skip it.

I'm not sure why its not showing up in Liveracers. NAGT does and they are on the same box. Also no changes on my end.
To be honest, given how flaky LR is for reliability, I'm not too worried about it.
I did the quiet sound mod last night and it didn't really have any effect. At first I thought it did but nope. Still as loud as ever.
Cheers!

Rich was saying that there are two "ambient" noise files in an Enduracers folder under the Sounds. make copies so you have them but deleting one of the files will get rid of the wheel gun noises and the other one won't do anything.
I imagine find the "quiet" ambient sound file from the quiet sounds mod and overwriting the ones in Enduracers would accomplish the same thing. As always though, BACK UP originals.
Cheers!

Just wanted throw out a big "Thank you" to everyone that made the race today.
This was a difficult track only in that there was no place to take a break. You had to be totally wired tight to stay out of trouble.
Congrats Tony for the overall win! I'll have everything updated here in a little bit. Food is calling my name.
Cheers!

Cheers dudes, what a mess I made of that, my usual consistency deserted me and I paid the price of an awful first few laps, but made it to the end so will be content with that.

Sorry I bailed, I was just getting in everyones way. I had not even turned a lap here as I thought I would miss the race. That combined with no time for a tune. Car was just real bad.
I think I will try the ALMS07 Spyker Squadron #86 for next race. Maybe I can get some setup help from F1 or Smoke.
If that don't work out I'll go back to my original choice, LM11 Flying Lizard Motorsports #80. And bug Chris or Rich.

Thanks for the racing guys, as always I had a blast racing with all of you. Sorry again for some small contact with different class cars. Especially Dale, as I was approaching the final turn the closing speed and the fact there was a bit of a stack up I was on the inside of the final turn and slid wide into that great looking Spyker. That slight contact however was enough to cost at least 10 seconds, I hope it didn't cost any positions.

Great race guys! We could use a few more cars though.
In "Gamedata/sounds/endurance series" you should see two "ambient folders. Remove one of them and check if it solves the issue. If it doesn't then swap them out and re-check. I was lucky and chose the correct one, Tony had to swap them.

my apologies to Hawks for that lap 8 incident I watched to replay to see how that developed. Boza and I came up on Hawks just before the left hand kink into the final turn. Boza was able to shoot the corner (on the grass ) and get thru. I had assumed that Hawks knew we were there as he was wide to the right at the start. But as I aimed left to go across the rumble strips he also turned in, his normal line. I guess he had no idea I was behind him, I should have let him know. Or waited till the straight. But I was too focused on catching Boza at that point If I did things right I only braked twice on that track, hard at the end of the front straight and a light touch just going into the final corner. That left hand kink I would normally shoot thru across the two rumble strips. During practice I could run many consecutive laps in the mid 57 secs so I figured I was competitive to win the race, not many times I can do that But need to stay relaxed and in a groove, lose that and nothing good results ;D Racing in traffic is bit (understatement) trickier than free practice. I think I need to turn on the AI and run with them more So once I got Boza in my sights I started to get too aggressive, I think same thing happened at Mosport Great fun while it lasts but seems to not have a happy ending After my first screw up I was too tense and trying too hard to catch up, another bad recipe. So my pit strategy went quite literally out the window. Perhaps I won the prize for most pit stops ? Anyways that was still a great race and a lot of fun

If anyone is interested in running P2 cars... here is the actual tune I was using for the race. Somewhat proud of this one as I developed it on my own Slowing starting to get a feel for cars and a 'vague' idea of what perhaps to tweak. Anyways this tune is good for solid consecutive laps in 57 sec range. The car is P2 ACURA ARX "08 ALMS_PATRON HIGHCROFT RACING". hmmm... not sure where my attachment went
