I just figured it out... I was deleting the exiting Teams_Ford and Teams_Holden folders in my install folder then extracting the .rar file. I just tried extracting the rar with the original Teams_Ford and Teams_Holden folders and that worked.

so, if I dont install the skins pack no problems with mismatches ? That is correct. Skins in rF1 are validated and loaded locally only. If your PC doesn't have the skin you will see cars in the default skin. What is on the server has no bearing on what you see. We encourage drivers to use the pack though because painters put a lot of effort into making their cars unique. |

FYI - Please go in and re-download the Season 6 skin pack. There was a minor tweak to it that we corrected this evening.

Last night before the race in official practice I mentioned to Sweeney that I didn't see his skin, he jumped out and tried to pick it but it didn't show up to be picked although I checked and it is in the folder. Then when we moved over to the other server for qualy and race I could see his skin on the car, it is also in the Qualy overlay video posted in the race thread.
So not sure what was up with that. In the folder for the Wilson Security car there is the default skin and Sweeney's skin plus extra files. But Sweeney's skin is not in a "Skins" folder with the accompanying "Msc" folder for the window .dds file like other cars are with multiple skins. Not sure why it worked on one server but not the other?
