Had loads of fun tonight. Almost missed the race due to family time, but my wife let me finish dinner a few minutes before she did and I was able to duck into the home office and get into the cockpit. Lots of great battles tonight, Sheldon and I had an epic one during the second race. Looking forward to the opener at Adelaide.

Dale won second race me second & Fahn 3rd. at the end there was .255 between me & Dale so another intense race lol not good while im sick well done Dale & bad luck Kevin and congrats to meself lol Yeah Smokey... I had tire wear under control and a constant gap to you after the pit stop. I was worried about Fahn getting around you so I pushed harder for 3 laps or so which was a big mistake. The tires fell off instantly after that, I was losing 1-2 seconds a lap and I had to go defensive. One more lap and you would've passed me. PC problems in Race One cost me a probable podium. I apologize to those that had to dodge my car. The game didn't crash right away, just the video drivers did so it's 2-3 seconds of blackness while they reset. All I can do at that point is let the car drift off the racing line (from memory) and lift off the throttle.

yeah by what I seen of Kevin his tyres went early so I worked hard to catch him then after pits I was fighting off Fahn (probably toying with me lol) for most of rest of race & hoped my tyres would be better at end like Kevins before pits but I had an excellent time battling You, Kevin & Fahn was good fun

Congrats to Smokey and dale on the wins. Wow what a track, fun but hard. Never raced here before this week so wasn't sure about times. Qualy went better then I expected and from there in race one I had one of the most intense races ever with Smokey. Nose to tail for 10 laps, at one point I had a run down the long straight but locked them up and really no place to make a pass at the end so Smokey got a 1sec gap on me. I caught back up to him and we had a great run to the line!! Race two, I don't know why I was on the pole. I thought I said I was in 2nd but I guess I had my mute on according to Rich. Had a great run going out front till pit stop time. The tires just went totally off on lap 9 and I was planning on pitting which I hadn't practiced. I was thinking about what I needed to do and trying to keep the car on the track when Smokey passed me then Dale had a run on me through the S's and tapped me sending me around, no worries Dale stuff happens. I tried to get going and looped it again, I guess the spin took off what ever grip was still left in the tires. Smokey and Dale now had a huge gap on me now and I never recovered after the pit stop, chased Jeff around the rest of the race till he went off on the last lap as we went through the chicane. I really need to work on the pit stop deal, that has killed me in all the GBR races so far.

Had fun as usual last night. I ended up with 2, top 5 finishes (5th in Race 1 and 4th in Race 2). Ended running a personal best in Race 2 and hit the 1:56's finally - personal victory Good battle with Fantamos as he was on my tail most of the race, then made a nice pass with half a lap to go. Awesome stuff! This track is very windy and very hard on tires. That combined with tires set to x2 obviously had some guys struggling a bit. I know a few of you were frustrated last night, but this is what will make the series interesting. Some guys will be better on softs and others on inters. Should be a good way to shake things up a bit.

Once I got rfactor working again and was able to join the second race I was happy. Then I started driving and not much good happened after that. I wrecked pretty bad twice and that was all for me. I would have been fine if I could have kept the backend from getting away from me. I think I will need to turn on some assists until I really get the hang of these. Thanks again for hosting this.

thanks again fellas for letting me join the fun. Congrats to Smokey and Dale on your victories. I had no practice on the inters till race night, what a trip. After running the softs in race 2 - i think i liked the inter's better only because i was able to get faster turn ins and drift off the apex. i drive historix's a lot fellas anyway, dales' disco handed 3rd to me so i didn't earn it but still had fun. race 2 finished i think 7th. just know i pb'd which was cool and i also know i drove the wheels off at the end trying to close the gap on Tony. don't know if you have a 'consistent lap' measurement but i'd bet he was right on each and every lap... or it was me gaining and losing by the line. just couldn't do it. great job tony. i would like to comment these cars are really fun on softs so even though i felt faster on inter's, i just need to get my soft set up tweaked to match the feel of the inter's - without burning the tires up LOL later fellas and looking forward to next season

Had some time kill last night while waiting on graphics to render. Hopped in offline just to feel the car out and refresh on the course...1.54.7s on 4th lap on softs incase you wondering I was waiting for you to hit 54s or low 55s. Looks like you was bluffing; I was bluffing too , I didn't turn a serious lap until race day but once again the rFahntune did the job. We made a few guys practice like crazy ji ji ji . Had a some nice battles. I really don't like this "sprint races", this kind of races are good for like your MX5 series; the V8 series is your Premier Series and premier series need at least have 60 minutes race and a fun tire wear and fuel, a full simracing experience. But this is the way it is and like somebody said, " if you don't like it, go somewhere else". I think I am gonna skip the sprint races. thanks fellas, lucky race was yesterday as I cant talk today & hard to breathe without coughing Congrats Smokey for the win. Lol, lucky was not involved in your win, you had a lot practice; I am very happy you found the key of tire management. Congrats Dale for the win too. Looks like the champion is gonna have a lots of challenge in this season.

TIL fahntomas is the GBR troll. way to keep the rest of us guessing. Spaz did it too , he claimed 54s and thats impossible unless you cut or use the tire grip hack. I bet you more than one where scratching their heads . I promise no more trolling about lap times
