Hawks figured Fantamos, stinky and a few others would get out of the 2:00 and hit the upper 1:50's
Hawks and Tony were sharing setup files, I tried a few but I am still getting the hang of this car. I have track layout memorized now so hope to hit 2:02 before race day.

i'm betting the leaders will come up with 57-58 maybe a 56. i'm am 2:02 on inter and 2.00 flat on softs..

never tried softs on it this is my first go at the track as its inters on the server. I was gonna say 57s lol

nah best so far 2:00.050 my car under steers like a biatch it always does, but its really exasperated on this track. not sure how to make it turn in better

LiveRacers says Ian holds the record with a 1:57.077 (on softs) and we're all a little quicker now so...

But I highly doubt my track record will stand and though I'm the reigning race winner ( my only V8 win I might add) I suspect it's highly unlikely I'll defend my title...

As Dale said , everyone has gotten faster, has better equipment and has a better feel for these cars now. But...I'm gonna try to be there for it

You better be there Ian. You've been wanting this track for over a year dammit.

Ran some practice last night on inters and managed to get into the low 2:00's a few times. I might be able to squeeze out a high 1:59, but I don't think I have much more. Haven't tried softs yet.

One thing I did notice is the inters start to get some grip on lap 4 or 5. They are good for a couple laps, then start to fall off. My right front went yellow first, then within another lap 3 of the 4 were yellow. Once they start to deteriorate, they go pretty quick. These inters aren't near as durable as I thought they were.

My setup has really aggressive camber, so I may mess around with it a bit to see if I can make them last a bit longer.

Was funny, my setups are usual pretty loose. I ran a few laps and Tony's is really tight. Funny how different our setups are, but both getting decent lap times (by our standards anyway).

Be sure to check out Tony's track guide video. I posted it on the first post of this thread. Good advice, especially for some of the newer guys. He may try to do more during the season. Thanks for taking the time to put that together Tony.

hmm best ive done is 3 laps in a row might have to try a bigger stint of laps are they really that bad Hawks as I thought the softs would be worse lol

Haven't run softs yet. Since we are running tire wear x2 this season, guys who can manage tires will benefit for sure. I need to learn how to be a little easier on them and may have to adjust my setups accordingly.

I just set a PB on softs without really pushing to the limit. Yeah, records will tumble next week.

Damn Dale, 1:59.4 on Inters after only 4 completed laps!! Why is everyone else getting faster and I just keep getting slower! This is pissin' me off!
