Some bad luck for some of you guys and I got gifted a win. I came in cold, had nothing for the faster qualifiers but sometimes I suppose caution wins out. Boza was a dot on the horizon then he crashed. I had a good fight with Dave for a while who was all over me in a few corners and I was quicker in others. I think the biggest difference was that I could use the curbs and he was terrified of them. 
Anyway, the hairpin claimed him. Jeff was reeling me in but appeared to have one or two minor incidents that slowed his progress. I had about a 20 second gap to him after we did our pits and he had a few boo-boos, then I eased off about 0.5 sec/lap to being it home.
I heard talk about super soft vs soft tires. I didn't find that tire wear was significant when we're running 22 minutes per stint. I dunno about the other cars in the mod or if it comes down to driving style but I could've done the entire race with no pitting on a set of super-soft tires (I only pitted because it was required). Something to think about for the next event.
