Is hosting rF2 more of a resource hog than rF1?

Thanks all for coming out. The race seemed to go OK technically. I had two big stutters but I didn't see any floating cars.

Open wheel is always a challenge as we don't run it often. I hit Craig hard in Race 1 at T1 because he was still feeling things out and hadn't found that 7th gear mojo there yet. Race 2 was OK but when Boza and Knight tangled I came around the corner and tried to run wide to avoid them but didn't go wide enough and clipped Knight's wheel. I spun so much that I didn't know which way the track went when I stopped. I decided to see what I could do on softs and those died on me with 4 laps to go so I had to pit for tires.

Yes. It's 2x the bandwidth per car and more computation on the server (due to rubbering, weather, etc).

I'm not likely to host again until the fall as I'm taking a bit of a break from commitments like that so that my schedule is more flexible. If someone wants to take a stab at organizing rF2 during the empty time slots, feel free.

Agreed, +2. Silverstone and the current version of the ISI Formula Masters car might be the best car and track combo I have ever run in rFactor or rFactor 2, even eclipsing the V8 Supercars at Bathurst. Yes, the track needs some polish, I noticed some flickering for example on my screens, and it also needs to be optimized for lesser hardware. That being said, its easily the most beautiful version I have run, possibly tied with the iRacing version. The car is simply sublime, I would not change a thing about it. The FFB and physics are easily the best of any car in rFactor 2.
