Date: Sunday, August 11, 2013 Time: 7:00am PST (70 minute Warmup/Practice starts at 7:00am PST, Qualifying starts at 8:10am PST and race starts at 8:20am PST) Cars: Star Mazda (paid content) Track: Laguna Seca (paid content) Warm Up: 70 minutes Qualifying: 10 minutes, 4 laps Race: 40 minutes Tune: Open. Here are a qualifying and race set up I pulled from the forum. LagunaSeca - Quali.sto (1.01 KB) LagunaSeca - Race.sto (1.01 KB) Keep in mind that we will have to start on time, since there is no way I can change the race start time once we are in the sim. You can be late for warm up and qualifying and can come and go as you please. There will be unlimited Fast Repairs, so no one is left completely in the dust due to a mistake. Because you all are road purists, this will be a standing start. Keep in mind that the Porsche Supercup series follows our race and so please try to make that as well before you go about the rest of your Sunday with your families.

Laguna Corkscrew = Lime Rock crest of hill.
This will be interesting to say the least. My fav track though so count me in for sure!
Cheers!

This will definitely be a challenge. I checked my stats and I have not run a race there with the Star Mazda so I don't have a setup specifically for the track. I think the setup used for Lime Rock should work though. If I do find a better setup before the race, I will share it.

We need some chatter going for this!! I ran a handfull of laps and it is certainly a challange.the left hand kink before the Rahal straight can be a doosey if you cut it too much.

I used the same setup from the forum that Craig shared here and it works great for me. Looking forward to the race. The official series is running Laguna this week so I joined some practice sessions to test the car and track.

I got some practice in today but man, I'm going to suck.
I really, really need to spend more time in iRacing and re-learn how lateral grip works in that sim's engine. I have never had the rear come around so much on me on corner entry as I have with the last few builds. It is completely different to me than rFactor.
