Well guys if you haven't ran this course it's great but I don't think it's going to be one you can just jump in and run like Road America. It's has some challenging curves and the runoff area is sand that is slippery. You really go a long way. The elevation changes are cool and add to the feel of the track. If anyone wants to get on and run a few laps I will be on around 8pm central time. Jim PS I like it and nice choice.

The server is currently up but I may take it down so the server is focused on the rF2 Sunday race.
Like Jim says, this should be a new track for many of you so you may want to turn a few laps ahead of time, or just have extra beer!
Just a note on the paddock; when you exit you are at beginning of pit road. Make a sharp right, go down the pit and enter the track to the left. It took me a minute to figure it out.

Ran a couple laps with Jim this evening. at least until the wife started yelling at me to control the grandchild. Great track, not real fast at it, but I really like the layout. Great find Dave.

Thanks, Dan. I had to look for the track but the idea was from the efnet series. They really ran that track back then so it fits nicely. I'm surprised it has elevation changes. Long Island NY is pretty flat!

Bump for tomorrow night. Try to get some laps in ahead of time since this track is new to most of you.

I will probably try to stay up for the first heat (presuming it starts more or less on time). But I do have to work Saturday, so Race 2 is likely out.

I raced there in the early 90's and still hold the lap record for Laguna Bays which is run backwards. Did a 38 something in my FF2000 car and 37 on the Laguna Bay layout. You guys will love this track. A true European track in the states...

Looking forward to this race, hopefully I don't crash out in the opening laps.
