Trans-Am - Mt Tremblant - 11/15

We head to Quebec for our one and only visit to Canada. Jim pulled out a little further on points. Let's see if he can keep the pressure on!

PLEASE NOTE: I will be flying back from Milwaukee that afternoon. I am on an early flight but I can be delayed and may need to postpone the event with short notice. I am trying my hardest not to do this.

DATE: 11/15

TIME: 7:15 PT / 10:15 ET

TRACK: Mt Tremblant

QUALIFICATION: Practice times from the session just before the event will be used to set the grid

RACE LENGTH:
Race #1 - 20 minutes - Begins at 10:30 PT barring any technical issues
Race #2 - 20 minutes - Begins after a 5 minute warmup/break and will have an inverted grid

FLAGS: Black Flags Only. Blue Flags will show but no penalty will be issued.

DRIVER AIDS: Auto Clutch; Low Traction Control (please only use if you must)

PIT: Driver's choice

FUEL: 2X

TIRES: 2X

DAMAGE%: 50

MECHANICAL FAILURE: Normal

SETUPS: Open

SERVER LIVE: 11/8

I'd be happy to reschedule. That way you would not have to worry about the flight and you could have ample time to practice and get ready for the race. I'm sure we could figure something out. Jim Ps love the track, the series of right handers after the pits it hard to figure out at speed with the blind entry, elevation changes and the bumps.

Thanks, but I'd like to try to keep it since Tony has a alternate Friday series and I don't want to go a month without this series! My project will likely not delay me. If anything, it would be weather related. I will practice Mon and Tues before I leave to Milwaukee.

Is the server OK? I can see it in the list but am timing out when connecting.

That was possibly the server I had up. I am have a few internet problems and I didn't have the weight penalties on. I don't think David has the official server up yet. Jim

I've been feeling like crap the past two nights and haven't been able to fire up the server. It will be up some time today.

Server is up. Have not tested it myself so please report any issues. We are running the GP version.

Damn you, Jim! Hey, did you notice if the weights loaded? I was on last night but forgot to check.

No I don't think they did. I used my offline tune and it worked. I tried the ones for the body in the truck first and didn't have the control. So I'd say no. Our last 2 sectors are almost identical, were I made up some time is sector 1, but I have to tell I was ALL over the place going through that sector and was amazed I made it through that quick because it was not smooth. LOL There is no way to replicate that lap after lap. Speaking of not being smooth, what version of the Glen are we running? I was going to load that on the practice server later this week. Jim

I just redid the rfaa thing and restarted the server. I can't test though because I am not home. Let me know if you try it.

Watkins Glen will be the course with the boot but without the chicane. I think it's called GP in the track pack.

Nope still nothing as far as weight added. I'm ok with just forgetting about them. LOL JIm
