 Welcome to GBR’s first rFactor 2 series and first F1 series! rFactor 2 is still in beta, as are many of the tracks, but I think it’s getting close enough that we could run a real series with it. Keep this in mind when participating. We are essentially testing the game, mods, vehicles, and of course, tracks. Hop over to the Discussion Thread to chat about the series. Hope to see you on the track! Current rF2 build is 300 and we’ll be using that until a proven stable update is available. Available Cars:ISI Formula Masters (aka FISI) Please post your choice in this thread. I would like everyone to select a car even if you are just dropping in. DRSImportant! - Due to the lack of DRS zones in most of the beta tracks, we are banning DRS for this series. Since I am not able to disable it, it’s on Scout’s Honor that no one will use it. It’s obvious when you do since you can see the flap open if you’re behind a car. Event FormatQualifying - 10 minute session begins at 8:00 AM PTRace - Single race with lap count adjusted for race to be ~45 minutes in length - Begins at 8:15 AM PT Server Name - "GBR - FISI" Tire Wear - X1 Fuel Usage - X1 Damage - 50% Mechanical Failures - Normal Flag Rules - Black Only - Blue will be shown but not penalized Driver Aids - Auto Clutch; Low Traction Control, Low ABS (please only use aids if you must) Starts - Standing Pit Stops - Driver’s choice Setups - Open PointsI will keep track of points. This may not affect anyone else but to update from 298 to 300 I had to re-activate 298 for the updater to work properly. However, if you've activated a bunch of times like me (both my gaming PC and server) and at risk of needing ISI to reset your activation count you won't want to leave this until the last minute.

F1, I was able to update on my gaming PC but needed to reactivate on my server. The Upgrade tab was greyed out.
Helios, Oooh yeah...fire that bad-boy up! I think (second guessing myself) it went 240>298>300. Hopefully, the auto-update will work for you from 240 straight to 300.

I did not even realize you were in the race with me. I almost was able to avoid you after you spun in front of the pit entrance, but I just grazed your right rear. I only had four minutes of optional repairs, and I was able to get back on the track and finish the race. Also, i will be present for some practice on Sunday morning, but I will miss qualifying and the race. A good friend of mine is building an iRacing rig, and he asked me for some time this weekend to help him set it up. I will be heading over there on Sunday morning with my son. |
