I wonder if they've integrated GID or TrackMap given the comment about removing external injection DLLs...

When testing the beta version they had a newer, cleaner track map installed which looked and functioned much better than the original which got cut off at the top and bottom. It also eliminated the flickering some people had.
I haven't been able to get beta version 1.49v to lunch so I can't give any info but I had 1.48 working and the automatic wheel setup, track map, performance, visuals and ffb were much better than the current public version.
All in all an excellent update with still tons to come!
I really enjoy the new track and Lancer which will make for some great drop in club races.

Thanks for that info. That flickering was a bit of a bug for some in the last release of GID. I had to roll back one version. The guy that made GID has pretty well dropped out of sight so maybe it's good that Reiza took on their own solution. Hopefully it makes its way to rF2 |

I'm suddenly having a problem with my GSC install. I went to run the sync program and I'm getting this error. Any ideas? I can't figure it out.  |

They had said something about blocking the sync until the new build is released, that may be it.

V1.50 released!
Take note:
Current users MUST create a fresh player profile (delete the old one from \USERDATA) otherwise the game won´t launch;
I'm stoked to see the changes now that they have the source code.

I'm stoked to see the changes now that they have the source code. So am I but to be fair they got some of them (like the 6 controller limit) from ISI. They quietly addressed some outstanding annoyances when creating the Steam executables. Thanks for the heads up... updating now. |

Just updated and tried out a few laps in the Super V8. I immediately can notice a difference in the tires/suspension. Also, the rear seems much more stable on the default setup than before. Not getting as much wheel spin when I gun it off the line. Still need to spend more time with it, but so far so good.
The only thing I am getting that is annoying is when I go back to the garage after being on track, my screen is black. I have to minimize the game with "Cntrl/Esc" then bring it back up and it's fine. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm not having that problem, It seems to be working fine, except I don't see the same SuperV8 cars as I did with v1.38. I'm just wondering if all those cars Dan painted are going to work with v1.50.

I just rebooted my machine and the black screen issue resolved itself (knock on wood). We may need to reboot the server computer I think Dale.

Another thing to consider.
I dont know if the server here from GBR runs a Steam version of the Sim, but...from Reiza´s notes:
Further known issues with this version (to be addressed in the next release):
GSC Dedicated is unstable when running from Steam;
