Oh man, driving while coughing and or sneezing is a bitch. Hope you feel better. Just a sore throat for now but I hope the watery eyes doesn't start. Chris knows all about coughing and driving in the past month

Good night of racing. This track is very difficult, and very fun at the same time. I enjoyed very much the flow it requires. Jeff was very fast today, and deserved the Win at the first race, although I gave my best to give him a hard time. Was a nice chase through the walls and the wreckages, with a few very nasty moments with traffic. Race 2 things went my way. After the restarts I nailed the one that counted, jumping in the lead. Tony also jumped to 2nd, which to me made life a lot easier, as my pace was very strong to open the gap. Shame about the incident for 2nd place at the time with the guys, as I was ready to a hard fight with Jeff again. A bit sad with the turn out. Looked like a big Series was borning, but now some guys are not coming anymore. And some that signed never came at all. I hope that at least for the event at Sebring we can have a bigger field, as it should be a very good Endurance. Cyu all at Montreal, hopefully.

Another race. Another disco. At least this one was a 2 race format, and somehow I managed to stay connected until the finish. Picked my way through the wreckage moving from 12th on the tail of the grid up to 5th. I'll take it.

Yeah, it is beyond me why people are not showing up, there are battles all the way through the whole field and the cars are so much fun to drive. I am not sure why the TUM guys have all turned their backs on this series now but 12 to 14 guys is better than a lot of other series. Further to that, an enjoyable mod means way more to me than car count if it means driving something that has a severely (unrealistic) flawed tire model. Anyways, thanks to all that do show up and if we can get the word out maybe we can get some other people involved. Looking forward to the rest of the season regardless, great tracks in this series. See you in Montreal.

Thanks for coming out guys, and thanks for the nice words, Tony. I too am loving this series, but of course I am biased No mod is perfect but this one is pretty darn good, IMO. As to why participation has dropped, I am clueless. All we can do is enjoy it ourselves and know they are the ones missing out! I will do my best to get the results tonight. My wife is away until Sunday so I am Mr. Mom until then.

Oh and Sebring having more of a turnout is doubtful (but I still hope). It is a long race int he middle of the week.

Made the mistake of checking my work email before the race and was thinking more about that than racing. That cost me a few wall contacts. . Oh well, I'm here for fun not points
