Ah that sucks. If you didn't know, you can map a hot key to Reset FF. There is also a hot key for toggling hardware plugins on/off which is good if you use Real Feel for FF. When my FF dies I quickly hit the Reset FF key then the Plugin key twice (if needed) and that works about 90% of the time. Some guys say it rarely works so YMMV.

If you realize you have no FF at the start of a race just say something and we'll restart. You put in quite a few laps for this race so having to quit is terrible.

Enjoyed tonight's race guys. I tangled with Chris early which screwed his race a bit. I kept with my strategy of no pit and was able to keep it on the track for a finish.

That was fun chaps, many thanks for it.
I am still not a huge fan of this mod TBH, but its growing on me. Maybe its the Porsche although I love them, so its probably just me.
I found during practice that it was far easier to drive it if taking it easy and that gave me the extra time by about a second with race fuel on board.
And then during qualy I couldnt crack the magical 35s barrier so found myself back in 8th which I was a bit sad about but thats the way it goes. On my second attempt on a hotlap where I was 3 tenths faster in the first sector I had an off at the 3rd to last bend so that put paid to that.
In my calculations I was going to be short of 5litres of fuel for this race with 28 estimated laps to be run so it was fuel conservation mode from the beginning. Dave stalled and then we went side by side through the first few corners and I managed to hold onto 6th ahead of him, so not sure who else I was able to leapfrog.
So 6th it was and then it became a 4th but Dale was pushing hard and I made a slight error when letting a top runner through after his pit stop and that bumped me down to 6th again, where I managed to stay for the duration. So I finished with less than 2litres in the tank and my right front tyre at around 10% - boy was I happy another lap was not needed.
I think thats my best result ever so thanks guys for good clean racing.
And the sound of Daves Benz is beautiful - that'll be my choice in any future series with these cars.

You raced with a Nitho POS with no FFB, 180 degrees and pedals sized for midgets for years and now you cant race without FFB? Hahahahahaha

@tony, I pitted a bit early for fuel, I knew I wouldn't make it. I think I may have put more in than I needed and resulted in about a 14 second stop. I just don't get it. I made a 45 minute race at Montreal without stopping. Then at Sebring I tried with one stop but came up short and had to pit on the last lap. Then at Interlagos I was going to be a couple laps short. This whole fuel thing drives me insane!

Yes my first fuel test failed to work as well offline so I made some counter intuitive set up changes and further driving adjustments which made a big difference.

Race for me was perfect, with excpetion of one mistake in the early laps, that cost me like 5 secs, when I got off track and luckly didnt spun! I really wanted to Win the race on my country, so to speak, so Im very happy. I was some 12 liters short of a no stop race, so I decided to do a splash, but not at the end. This was to give me the time to recover the lost time. I battled T Harper after my pit, all clean...and went for the lead. I was thinking that Jeff lost time because he changed tires, but looks like he didnt, so I guess I was lucky aswell in this point. All in all, pretty good race for me.

Great race Angelo, and great fun dicing with you before you disappeared down the road, lol. I could only get within 1 second of your quick lap in off line testing so again had to use strategy to move up the grid.

Double check points for this round. I haven't had a podium this season. At least not here.
