I will be there. Very little practice but I've got 44 minutes to learn the track before the last lap, right?

I am in the same boat Dale. Hopefully I can get on when I get home from work to at least know when to turn.

I really hate that I have to miss this one. I've been working a couple of hours each night after I get the kids in bed. Too bad I am a salary employee so no OT pay. I feel weird that I can't check the forum more than once a day! Have fun boys.

Great race tonight guys. I had a pretty quick car, but learned right away that having my rear wing at 4 really hurt me on the long straight. Had a great battle with Chris after pitting early. Had him on most of the corners, but tough to pass and he would pull away on the front straight. Got a little over zealous on lap 18 when I tried to out-brake him into turn 1, but my right rear locked up and the car pushed through the corner, sending Chris off to the sandtrap. I apologize for that and gave myself a deserved drive-thru penalty. In the end, still managed to finish 4th, so all in all pretty pleased.
Congrats Jeff on the victory and to Angelo and Tony for rounding out the podium. Great track, especially in these cars.

Congratulations to Jeff, he had a great Win today. After watch the replay he won it on pace, not on strategy, so well done! Also was a pretty nice race overall, this track is really good.
I did a fantastic Pole, which was quite satisfying. But had to settle for 2nd in the race, as I couldnt really keep up with Jeff in the later stages. Fight in the middle of the race was quite intense, after Jeff and I had our pits. With Armando leading, Tony catching him, me catching Tony, and Jeff catching me...was quite fun actually. 3wide in the big straight for the lead while Armando was pitting, should provide a great screenshot!
Ok turn out, I was surprised by that fact. Had David and Kit able to be there, 14 drivers, which would be a nice number. But 12 was not bad.
Hope see you all next time.

Fun track for sure! Was doing fine until I spun myself. Still had a blast and my first time at Fuji. I am sure Dave is upset he missed the race but more upset that the Rangers lost in OT. I am pulling for the Rangers over the Kings.

A good track. However, I wasn't motivated to race and had little practice. Right away, I knew with the wing at 6 (all I did was grab my COTA tune) I was going to have a miserable race and was going to have to be shifting at 5k to make it on fuel. So screw it... might as well have fun. I dove into the pits early, slammed the wing down, took 20 L of fuel and proceeded to redline that Ferrari for the rest of the race. I managed a 5th with the quicker pace and the misfortune of others. That's OK, I guess.

Epic Fuji was yet another fuel saving race that was definitely an extreme challenge to do a no stop. My lap times had to be pretty slow though & I knew the pace of the aliens would be too fast no matter the strategy so my main concern was covering anyone else not stopping. It worked, crossing the line with 0.2 gallons after watching a 45 second gap to Jason in 4th dwindle to 10 seconds while running ridiculously slow laps as I nursed it home sweating (literally) over my tank running dry. I had a few dices with different people but I was obviously holding people up in defending my position by not exceeding 8000 rpm and it was only a matter of time that I would be overtaken. It was interesting to see the different strategies play out and Jeff and Angelo seem to have figured out how to get ahead of the no stop strategies (mostly to do with raw pace) so it is always a battle for the final step of the podium, great driving guys. Congrats to Jeff on the win and Angelo on 2nd place, well deserved & well done. Thanks to all that turned out for the race, nice to see some returning faces too.
Looking forward to Canyelles sprint races (twin 25 minute races for those who dont know). This is a very technical but very flowing track, at least the long version of the track I sampled. Does anyone know which version were using?

When I first learned of the Blancpain mod, we ran our first exhibition with Canyelles 54. Really like the track. Not sure which one Dave plans on running.

I think the standing are not updated with this last round, is that correct? Not asking anything, just checking.
