Being as it's the last race of the season and I'm not in a points race, do you mind if I try out a Porsche this round? I want to switch cars for next season if there is one.

Great track once I got the hang of it. Had a fun time working through traffic early on after my disco sent me to the back of the pack on the restart (thanks for restarting and letting me back in by the way). Congrats to Angelo on a dominating season and also to Jeff who was able to keep him on his toes the whole time. I am still amazed how freakin' fast you two are! Damn Aliens!

Thanks for the season, Dave. Too bad that I closed my eyes for "just a few minutes" at 6:30... I entered this race totally cold so I couldn't really challenge anyone on pace.

Thanks for the oportunity to join this Season, David. Was an honour to me. I love this cars, and Im already missing all this. I enjoyed particulary my rivalary with Jeff, who kept pushing me all the time since Round 2, and from this rivalary I created big respect for him, a pretty damn good driver. I had also good leasons of strategy with Dale and specially Tony, and that made me a better driver for sure. Was sad see so many people turning the back to this series. People signing for it and not attending a single race, and people that dropped after a while. And because of that I think is difficult imagine a second season with this Mod. I cant believe that people actually dont enjoy drive this GT cars, who requires finesse and technique as it supposed to be in real life motor racing. But it is the way it is. Today´s race was a great end to the Season, almost an entire hour fight with Jeff. And was so tight that I won the race on a tiny mistake by him, who gave me the opportunity to do a inside line overtake after we trade some bits of painting! Great race as usual, mate. Thanks the Admins for their efforts. I will remember this Season for a long time.

I love running GT/Sportscars. Yes it isn't Enduracers ( ), but I still enjoyed these cars for the most part. The early season disconnects were frustrating, but glad I was able to improve the connection reliability. I'd show up for another season, though I will likely change cars...got a hankering to flog that V8 Z4.

Well I have to say that was a very enjoyable season of good clean racing in an incredibly realistic mod that arguably has one of the most dynamic tire models for RF1.
My race went pretty well despite the pace of Angelo & Jeff who dominated yet another race. I learned a couple things from those two during the season as well, THEY ARE DAMN FAST IN THIS MOD!!!!
I was able to jump into 2nd at the green flag on all 3 of the starts (I think the last restart we started in our track position at the time of the restart around the 6 min mark) but it was only a matter of time Jeff would breeze by and I check to make sure I'm not in neutral. The top three opened up an 10 second gap in the first few laps. Then I had a few moments that cost me time to the ever lurking Hawks. I lost even more when coming up on alternate strategy lap traffic but gained a lot of time on my pit stop (as always, thanks to my crew for flawless pit work) and even more time on track with worn tires (I dont think Jason took tires either) . I took about 8 laps more fuel than I needed for ballast and exited just behind the top 2 (guess who) but they quickly pulled away (perhaps on fresh tires?) or I just suck that badly. Then I just tried to keep it on track which was everything I could do to hang on to the damn car there. This track is a lot more fun with an F1 car, with less downforce it can be tricky to set the car up for some unique sections of this track. If you ace every corner it's nirvana, if you don't get it just right the track will bight you hard by smacking the wall or leave you 300 feet into a sand trap, nasty but the same for everyone. I'm definitely not complaining about the track select here either because they were all great for these cars.
Congrats to the top 2 and again to Angelo on the championship.
Cheers.

On my end yeah, I changed all 4 tires. Going in the pace that me and Jeff were going, would be impossible not change. At least I think he changed aswell.

Yeah, I took four tires. They were pretty much gone after the 30 minute mark. I pitted several laps earlier than you did and I knew when you came off your stop and was right behind me, there was going to be no holding you off! I tried but locked the brakes into a corner and you got by. It was a good one though. After 60 minutes we were only a little over a second apart at the flag!
It's been great racing this season and this has become my favorite mod. Thanks Dave and everyone for a good season! Hope we do it again!
