I was watching the gap hold around 15-17 seconds back, then some of the prototypes that pitted got in between us and I lost track of our relative positioning. I thought about tires, but I still had a fair bit left so decided to just dump in 4 laps worth of fuel and hopefully get close. What tires were you running? I was on softs with the intent to stretch them the full distance.
Opinions on mandatory 4 tire change during intermediate (30 minute) races? The 4 tire change has been pretty standard procedure at GBR, and have no qualms about running that here as well. Did anyone else go fuel only?
