I just realized the multi-car series is B-license, which I haven't gotten yet, lol. I may try the Ruf Cup series then.

Well after thorough thought, the GT3 series is my main priority with maybe other series featuring the RUF thrown in. 14 laps practice at Road Atlanta in the track vesion was all it took before I clicked with the car.

Build is released. Updating now. I managed to get the update downloaded and installed, but now the site is borked. Damn, I was really looking forward to trying some of the new content tonight.

The one chance I get to do the GT3 race today and the site is down. Not amused

Yeah, I had the same experience last night. They were able to get the site back up relatively quickly and I was able to do a 9pm PST race without a hitch.
They did a great job with the new build. You will enjoy it.

Site was up this morning, but then went down again this afternoon and has been down all night. Hope they get this fixed soon. I was ready to do some racing today.

Seems the GT3'S are going to be really difficult for me to find a slot with 2 hour gaps. However the KIA since the ntm has played right into my hands. Forum states a suspected pole lap is 1:38:300 On my first lap in practice I managed a 1:38:600 with a full fuel load on baseline setup. So I gave a race a bash this morning in the KIA and was running 4th ahead of quite a few less confident caddys. But running baseline I had no idea how much fuel to run and was 1 lap short Really love it though and look forward to be competitive if I can find some help with the setup.

Check the forum for setups. For cars that just got the NTM v5, it might take a week or 2 for setups to start showing up.
Also, each week there should be a thread in each car forum section explaining the track, expected lap times, and fuel required. The fuel estimates are usually more than what you need, so if you like to have just enough fuel to finish the race, you will have to do your own testing.

More downtime for the iRacing site today. I have been pretty lucky, as the site was back up the last two nights when I wanted to get some races in. I hope tonight is no different.

Back on topic. Has anyone else tried a GT3 race yet? It is unbelievable how closely matched the RUF and McLaren are. I have done a few races already in the RUF and they are awesome. Here is my setup with the right amount of fuel for the race. Road Atlanta race 30 min Kurt Gross.sto (1.15 KB)

I had like 14 incident points and I spun the car several times. The C-spec does not agree with me. I guess I should try the GT3 series instead and run the RUF Track, which does agree with me.

I tried the RUF cup and had the same problem. I found some good setups on the forum for the C-spec, but the car can still come around in a heartbeat. And once it starts to go, there is almost no way to stop it.
The RUF track sticks like glue to the track. It can still come around if you go crazy, but nothing like the C-spec and you can feel it coming better and catch it most of the time.
