Well crap. Maybe I will nab the HPD then.

LOL, this is becoming an HPD event. I think I'll just jump in the Caddy and tool around. There are a few tracks I'd like to buy so I am sure I will get the Ruf right away. Certainly have no interest in the HPD at the moment.

I will likely switch to the Caddy as well, since we have plenty of HPD drivers. I also might do the RUF if Kelly ends up being the only one running it.

I think you should take the Mazda Cup car out of the mix. Having it on the same track with the HPD will be too much speed difference. You still have the Caddy for the free car.
I'm working on a Setup for the HPD and will post it soon. Craig, can you please post a good stable setup for the Caddy? With the NTM, all my old setups are useless.
If we need more RUF drivers, I could switch to that also, I'm really liking the car. I'm sure with a few tweaks, the setup I have could be used at Laguna. I will work on a setup for it also.

I wouldn't suggest taking the Mazda out. The purpose is to make it so folks with limited content can come and enjoy running with their GBR mates.
The onus is on the HPD drivers to be aware of their closing speeds and adjust accordingly.
My thoughts.

Also remember this is a track day so folks don't have to switch cars to make things even. I plan on still running the RUF and others should run whatever strikes their fancy from the available cars.

Yeah, I think we should keep the Mazda in there. The Caddy is free, but its an acquired taste. I might actually run the Mazda. This is not about competition. Rather, this is a fun event to test out some cars you ordinarily would not drive and have fun with your fellow GBR members. That is partly why I did not even send out set ups. Just use the baseline set and drive a car you have not driven in a while. We can go back to cutthroat competition next week with the Skip Barber race.

Fair enough. Good stable setups help though. The baseline setups can be a handfull on some of these cars.

Craig, I noticed you are only using one hour of the session time when you paid for two hours. Why not extend the practice for those who would like to start early so you use the whole two hours you paid for in the session.

I will go ahead and add an extra hour to the session. It will start at 6:50 am PST. Sent from my HTC One X using proboards

Is it different for League sessions? I know regular hosted sessions cost $.50 per hour and the minimum purchase is 2 hours for $1.00.

OK, the session will start at 6:50am PST. There will be 100 minutes of practice time and then a 20 minute race. Troy will start 5 laps down. I will be on around 8am PST.
This will be fun guys!!!
