Jacksonville Super Speedway is a nice track. Good lighting for night events and the transition from day to night is pretty cool. High banks though, so drafting will be huge.

I test the server nightly,but its usually real.late. Im runnimg 19.4s right now at joesville. Should have live racer connected tonight i hope

Now realizing I mistook this mod for one called 'American Muscle' ran that few times with a lg a year or so ago. It was a great collection of 70's pony cars with big power handling issues. Ran Road & Street courses. Darn if Strt Stks is roundy round racing, will just await road racing cause not jazzed about ovals mostly (tho since wed nts is my one race nt per wk, I will show for some :~)

Will do on the base setup..and Don...don't knock it til you try it... honestly I think it just gonna be a fun stress free alternative to the competitive fun v8 series  I'm down at the shop right now, but i'll post screen shots tonight. All springs except right front at lowest. Right front 850-925 depending on your feel. Don't worry tire temps WILL get to 300. Rear toe at 0 front. bout -.30 to -.40 Positive left front camber about 2.5 to 3.0 Negative Right camber about 3.0 to 3.5 (check tire temps across the tire) You ideally want even temps across the tire with maybe inside a degree or two higher. 5.41 for gear ratio at joesville. makes 1 rst gear redline AT pit road speed, run the race in 3rd with no traction control. That be a good start till i can a screen shot up. |

This isn't Forza... no need for screenshots or typing things out... you can just post a link to your SVM tune file after sticking it on Dropbox or some other host.  |

I think the Street Stocks will prove to be very close and competitive. There's nothing like being door to door lap after lap. It's not like you can just hold your foot down and turn left, there's a lot of finesse to getting them around the track fast. Street Stocks are pretty near and dear to me as in my younger days I raced one a local speedway here. Spaz also raced Street Stocks I believe. I posted this on 2o2p a good while back, but here is a video of a race. My dad always taped the races with his big vhs recorder. He got excited from time to time so bear with all the nice shots of the ground and sky! |
