Thanks so much, Jason. Sorry guys. Work's taken over my head. I can't even get a decent night's sleep these days. I even dream about work crap every night.

Congrats to Angelo and Jeff on the top two steps of the podium, great pace by both and strategy by Angelo. Not a great turnout tonight but still fun to see different strategies play out and even some uncharacteristic contact at the T1 hairpin. So the start of the race that was restarted and the actual start were both very exciting but things quickly spread out and I settled into 3rd place. Then at the nasty T1 I cold tire drifted to a stop 90 degrees to the racing line and lost 3rd to Jason who drove a great race tonight and probably deserved 3rd. I feel bad about our 2/3rd's race distance contact though. After losing a bit of time breathing the throttle to let a hard charging Jeff go by I maximised my gain back to Jason when Jeff and him battled briefly before Jeff disappeared ahead. The following lap going into the dreaded hairpin again on two completely different lines (seen clearly from above in the replay) and different phases of the corner. Jason chose the inside line but has less grip than the racing line I was on. I was already finished my braking and about to coast through the apex minus one lane as I had no idea where Jason was at this point so was leaving a car width to absolute apex. Jason braking on the dirty inside line was still trying to get slowed down for turn in and in fact locked the front tires milliseconds before coming across the racing line and BANG. It all looked a bit clumsy but with the wide entry you can lose sight of the other car (like Austin). I would call that a racing incident that robbed Jason & I of another epic battle but we both pressured each other when chasing so that was still fun, I still think I owe Jason one though. Great racing with others as well like Jeff briefly (lol) and Dale some. Thanks to Ed for holding your line in the high speed "S" that was a close one with Jason looking to capitalise and almost had me at the chicane but just kept it contact free but very close over the finish line. Thanks to all that were able to make it and hope more can make it for the closing races.

I couldn't match the pace of the frontrunners so I ran my own pace and hoped for tires/fuel to work in my favour but they didn't. Then for some stupid reason I started hotlapping with 50% tire and drove off track twice.

That was some good close racing for the most part. Got two crappy starts with the car squirreling to the left which in practice it did not do, so I cocked it up both times. The I screwed up T1 early in race and fell back to 8th or something behind Chris and then slowed down to conserve fuel for and could finally start to put the hammer down at about the 20 minute mark which could have been the 25 minute mark but anyway.
Had good racing with Chris and Johan for pretty much the duration and thankfully Chris messed up T1 twice which allowed me through. Great fun, well done podium and thanks for hosting guys.

Great chase again, this time I managed to keep Jeff at bay! Also this time the tires were a big concern. More than at other venues. I got to the finish with all of them with one red dot...car all over the place. That was only by just... Jeff was gaining all the time in the end, I managed the gap quite well, also I had luck because his Pit Stop didnt went well. All in all another fun and challenge race. 2 rounds to go.

Very good racing tonight. Had another exciting, close battle with Tony. No worries about the T1 incident Tony. I made a couple poor decisions on that one. First off, I should have let a much faster Jeff with fresh tires go by instead of racing him. That immediately blew the small 2 second gap I was trying to hold onto and you were right up on my bumper. Going down the front straight I decided to take the defensive line which was mistake #2. I carried a bit too much speed into T1 and lost sight of where you were, then locked up the fronts. Both of us were blind there and agree it was totally a racing incident. Didn't spoil the night as the battle continued to the end of the race and was a lot of fun. I think this was the first time I have been able to make a 45 minute race without pitting (moral victory). Trying to find that balance of maintaining a quick pace but also saving fuel is a major challenge and always makes these events interesting. Thanks to everyone who came out. Even with the smaller field, sounds like there were lots of very close racing throughout, which make this series so cool.

Qualifying showed how closely matched Jason & I were here, .016 difference in our times. Every race meeting lately we are nose to tail, great fun indeed.
