What kind of wing are you guys running? The top speed of some if you is way higher than mine. I hope you guys are practicing on rubbered tracks and drafting one another lol I started out with 5 but it way too loose for me. I think I'm comfortable at 9. If you look at my PB lap time on LR, my top speed was only 293 with my wing at 9.

Top speed dose not matter here, It's how quick you are going over the mountain curves that matters I think.

Going to jump on in a few. Lawn mowed and dishes done, so hopefully that keeps me out of the dog house for sitting on my butt for a bit.

First I want to apologize to Dave and Kurt for crashing into them. Secondly I would like to apologize for my crap attitude. I really enjoy racing with you guys and appreciate everything this club does and I will try to step up and bring a bad attitude. Every screw up I had at this race was self inflicted and I have nothing but respect for everybody here. Thanks for putting on this race and I will see you guys for the next one. Jimmy "DNF" Regan.

Rough night for me, but feel very fortunate to have got on the podium. Boza got a great jump off the line and took the lead into turn 1. Tailed him for awhile, then the back end kicked out on me exiting the chase. Dropped to 5th and the next lap got a big time draft off Jeff and Paul down Conrod Straight and then they went side by side going through the chase. Tried to brake, but carried too much speed and took the evasive action to avoid rear-ending them both. Flew through the sand (which is more like ice than sand) and tagged Paul. Felt like crap about it. Waited for him to get his car turned back around and fell in behind, which put me in 8th. My original plan was to go with a 2 pit strategy and try to hammer out fast laps, but due to my early incidents, changed it up to a 1 stopper. Right front went pretty quick due to my off road escapades. Pit on lap 21 and started to make up some time, but spun it coming down Skyline just before the Dipper. Briefly moved up to 2nd after Boza had an incident, but I gave it right back coming down Skyline again. Congrats to Jeff on the victory and Boza for runner up. I love Bathurst, but tonight "The Mountain" got the best of me. LOL.

This event, more than others this season, showed how important tire management is in rF2. The race was totally doable on one stop as long as I didn't lock up the RF tire too many times. I had a little spin at The Dipper and lit up the rear tires to spin the car around... when I looked at my tire status, I'd burned about 15% of their life with that one incident. Oops.
I had no pace tonight but mostly stayed out of trouble which got me a decent placing.

NP Jason, I'd actually backed off a tad to let Jeff past which prob didn't help ya. All good. It was the two spins I did to myself that cost me more.............
