Black Friday Steam sale has started!!! I am currently eyeballing the evil with in 66% off and possibly DayZ Some RRE content is on sale DTM 13 is $7.99 @ 70% off pretty sure if you buy DTM 13 it will allow you ingame to recieve DTM 14 @ around 80% off  |

Picked up Beyond Earth tonight. It's better than Civ 5, but not as in depth as Alpha Centauri/Alien CrossFire. But definitely the best of the last 2. |

Picked up Beyond Earth tonight. It's better than Civ 5, but not as in depth as Alpha Centauri/Alien CrossFire. But definitely the best of the last 2. Yep, that's what I picked up from the reviews I watched. And why I waited for it to be on sale. I never played Alpha Centauri...so I don't know what I'm missing. |

I'm on the fence with Beyond Earth mostly because I have a lot of games right now to play. Skyrim (pretty well ignored it after I bought it), FC4, GTA V, Destiny, need to finish Bioshock Infinite, etc. Perhaps I'll watch for 50% off later in the sale or at xmas.

on a side note I was reading some of the comments on Ars Technica posting about latest Steam sale.. I was gratified to see numerous comments by people about buying many games off Steam and never playing them  So I am not alone |

I bought nothing! On a side note steam introduced a new beta live broadcast in its latest build. It allows users to jump in and watch a friend play live which is kinda cool and allows you to check out the game play races. Some other features like live stream, recording etc. I tried jumping in and watch tartan play some crew but had a some issues as he hadn't set his end up. I believe if you go to steam account/account options/broadcast there's an option to turn it on/off allow anyone to join or ask for permission if you click friends and allow anyone on your friends list can watch you play with out you bugging them mid game. |
