Love the the track...but I had zero luck last night. Another DNF (wrong place, wrong time) when Jeff's car lagged into my engine bay, sending both of us into the front straight wall...and my car deciding to turn into a car-b-que. Another spin and wreck in the same spot in Race 2 early on, forcing a pit for repairs. Ended up playing catch up and having to make a second pit stop. I was damn lucky to get inside the top 10. Need to turn things around, as Dan has now passed me in points, and is poised to pull away.

Event 07 - Lime RockRace 12Race 13Congrats again to Boza for another sweep in Pro class. That makes 8 in a row!! Also, congrats to Kurt and Sheldon on getting their first wins of the season in Sportsman class. Great job guys! Thanks Hawks!! Congrats to all the guys that finished on the podium. Wow 8 in a row, didn't see that happening. 1st race I had a poor start and Jason took the lead going into T1. Was able to get a good run out T7 to make the pass on the front straight but Jason closed the door. Going into T1 he left a little room for me on the inside and I took advantage of it. After that it was just managing the tires and trying to keep Hawks behind me. 2nd race I had a better start and had the lead going into T1. I took it easy at T1 & T2 cause those two turns can destroy your front left tire if your pushing hard. I was able to make it to lap 27 before I had to pit. I loss some time pitting and came out right in front of Jason. I really had to push hard to stay in front of him and hope he would burn his tires up trying to pass me. After coming up on some lap traffic I was able to pull away some and managed the lead til the end of the race. Fun race and Happy Holidays guys and see ya next year!!!

Decent night of racing for me. I haven't felt comfortable pusing this car hard at past tracks but here I could. It didn't make much difference to my finishing though... I'm still falling into this solo gap between the front and mid packs.
Race 1 was almost boring, stayed out of trouble and I don't think I had any major battles. Race 2, the restarts got me... several good starts then I bogged it on the last restart. I think I dropped back to 8th by T1/2 and spent a few laps losing time before clearing traffic. After things settled down it was a game of managing traffic and tire temperatures to hold the gap back to David constant.
Congrats to the new Sportsman winners this week!

Had some nice runs last night. Hawks tune was stable and fast. Going over that blind crest in the back was always an adventure when you see them waiving yellow flags in that sector as you had no idea what you were going to find when you got over it. No major incidents or crazy offs was a good thing.

One of these days I'll get out of work early enough to give Boza a run....

Congratulations to Kurt and Sheldon for running consistent laps and pulling in the Sportsman wins.
I was really looking forward to fighting it out with Ed as our practice times and Qually put us damn near dead even, but the only time I seen Ed on track, I wrecked us both. I got the worst of it and rightly so, I should not have tried to pass where I did, but I had a really good run and just could not get my foot to cooperate and use the break. Sorry about that Bud.
