TONIGHT WON'T COUNT towards the championship. Probably the only night I'll be in the top ten.. Probably my only top-5 too. Between the established speed demons and our new members who are pretty quick themselves, it's going to be a tough season. I had great fun with strategy and racing with David. After the pit stop, I was saving fuel and was about 7 seconds back then turned boost to 3 to see if I could close the gap and force an error. Eventually it worked but I took too long to turn the boost back down and he caught me again when I realized I was going to run out of fuel unless I started short-shifting. Little did I know he was in a worse fuel situation than I and I got past again.

Too bad about all the glitches last night and some contact for a few people that put them out. Some great sportsmanship by Rich trying to limp back to pits and Angelo who got himself back in the race after that front straight land mine. Great fun last night anyway despite all the problems, thanks to all that showed up.

I had great fun with strategy and racing with David. After the pit stop, I was saving fuel and was about 7 seconds back then turned boost to 3 to see if I could close the gap and force an error. Eventually it worked but I took too long to turn the boost back down and he caught me again when I realized I was going to run out of fuel. Little did I know he was in a worse fuel situation than I and I got past again. I was tracking my fuel and holding onto two extra minutes of it in case I needed an extra lap after the timer ended. That was when Dale was six+ seconds back. I was just putting around and noticed he was now on my ass. Over thinking the fuel, I wound up going wide on a turn and let him by. Any other night I would have pushed a little but settle for finishing behind. Since I knew this race wouldn't count I rolled the dice...turned the boost up and started nearly red-lining every shift. I caught and passed him, but the timing was bad as the leaders crossed the line with 15 seconds on the clock, lol. My banked lap of fuel was gone and I made it a few corners on fumes. Well played, Mr Green. Had fun with Joshua as well. I kept him behind me by making my car as wide as possible while maintaining my pace. My compliments for your patience and not getting into me. Too bad you made the fuel mistake.

Well that was a good time. I was looking at a top 10 finish when i ran low on fuel, went in and got tires and thought fuel too, wrong. I was not aware that you have to set the stops up before the start, had to pit again for fuel. I will know better next time. Thanks for hosting.

Had to come from the back end of the grid after spinning trying to avoid Kurt (think I still clipped him). Also had some great scraps w/ Angelo, Dan, Sheldon & David over the course of the race. Picked up a couple spots at the end due to others cutting fuel too close...and almost had a crack at Dale. Just needed one more lap.
