I was watching you Jimmy. I didn't take tires so I was nursing them and saving fuel. I had about 4 minutes of extra fuel at that point so if you had gotten closer I would have increased the boost mapping to take the fight to you. I thought I was sitting pretty but yeah - I got Fanateced

Yeah my pit strategy was muffed up. I got some damage 2 laps before pitting in a battle on the long right hand sweeper towards the end of the track, nothing major, but when I went into pits I had no option to turn off damage. 75 seconds is what it showed for repairs. I also went medium tires which I think was a mistake, should have went hards and just got fuel. Anyways went in pits in 6th came out in 10th. I capitalized on others mistakes and finish 8th. It was a fun race but I feel I should have done better. I also missed half the quali due to rfactor lockup issues, have no idea what that was about, but a restart solved it. Look forward to racing more with this crew! After this GT series I know you guys are going back to V8's, are you doing GT series again on off weeks?

If that gets decent turn outs it may become a series. In my opinion, it is so much better than the WES mod and the WES is great! I know a few may not have rF2 yet and many don't have the mod as it is a pay-mod, but it is worth every penny of the $12 that it costs.

That was a fun race, I was not sure if I was going to last the race though as I was feeling a little ill about 45 minutes prior to the race. In qualifying I was able to set my first lap in the 52's so with 3 minutes to go I was satisfied I had gotten the best I could hope for. Unfortunately Rich would pip me for second on his last lap by 1/100th or so, well done. Qualifying turned out to be very close in the top 5 or so, great to see. Jeff obviously had issues as he was unable to replicate his strong practice pace. My race got off to a good start and was able to slot into second behind Angelo where I would chase him the whole race, even in the draft with low DF I was unable to close on the BMW on the straights just like with the AI in practice offline. The BMW killed everything else in my practice race. A 2.5 sec gap opened through the the pit stop cycle but I was able to close it back down to under a second at the finish line with the Aston of Jimmy coming into play slightly in the last few corners. I was hoping for more but Jimmy was well aware of us and was predictable and courteous to not interfere (thanks dude ) Congrats to Angelo who drove a perfect race and fully deserved a win and thanks to Rich for some great clean battles on track before he had to save fuel. Thankfully and not surprisingly on a wide open permanent road course we had no "one off" incidents this time with wide entries and loads of run off area, business as usual Thanks to all that made it last night and thanks to all for being aware of other around you, awesome driving. See you all next week at Brno part deux.

If it keeps good modders motivated, then I am all for it. If you have rF2, download their free Corvette to get a feel for the quality. isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/17266-Corvette-C6-r-ZR1-2013-by-UnitedRacingDesign-Update-May I have run in a series with a Euro group and it is the most satisfying sim-racing I have done. I just can't devote Saturday afternoons to it any more. Real life keeps getting in the way.

I also was against buying mods, but after getting the URD mod, Like David said, $12 was nothing and well worth it. My race was a disaster from the first turn on. Got some damage and the car was never right after that. I just kept it on the track for the duration and finished with a decent position considering. I still had fun, so in the end it was all worth it. Can't wait for the next race.

After seeing what goes into developing quality mods from scratch I'm OK with paying for good content. At least it's not the iRacing model that when you stop paying your subscription, you can't use the content you paid for(or as I think Chris says, leased). rFactor paid mods will always be there for you to use. What I won't pay for are mods ripped from other people doing work for free or mods ripped from other sims/games.

For those who are interested I do run a Friday night league using Game Stock Car. We are finishing up this week with V8's and i would like to move to the new Metalmoro mod for another season. The problem is that I only get about 7-8 guys that show up weekly to race. Some of my members feel we should just run Friday fun nights using a different mod each week. I myself like a structured points based series. We usually run short sprint races 2 per night equaling about an hour of race time. If anyone is interested in joining us please stop by my page and signup. internationalsimracinggroup.com/ I have hopes of creating a weekly series that will stick with dedicated drivers. I know this takes time so I'm willing to stick it out while we gain members. We do use NRT server, have liveracers and use mumble. Hope to see a few people check it out.

Great to be back racing with ya and had some great dicing back in the pack in first half. Not a fan of all the often overly complex modern F1 circuits but India's is tops. Will be that much better watching F1 there now that I know it well. About mid race, had some minor contact entering the awesome long 200 degr far end turn, I think it was fair, we just went in side by side and that put an end to the close racing DARN. The bigger setback was running fuel down (Ferrari more thirsty?) and having to pit before last lap. Held a 9th till then, pitted quick but was costly. 60mins is a long race, decided to finish, but sometimes its too much. Voting for 20 to 30min sprints someday perhaps

I do agree but would this pay-ware mod be without all ISI's hard work & development (assisted by great testers of course )?
