Well, that was certainly a great season for me. It was the first that I have been able to complete every event with, by far, my best race results. I guess I clicked with the mod, even though I think it needs improvement. I also realize some of the heavy hitters have gone missing. I'll take it though.
Looking forward to what comes next season! Thanks to Jason and Dale for the time you spend managing the series.

Well my first season with you guys has been the best season of racing for me in many years. All you guys are just great to race with. Good clean fun racing. I really have to thank Jason and Dale for the season and for letting me join in. I can't wait to see what's next.
I feel I did pretty good in the standings as far as points scored. I only got to do 12 of the 20 races, but every lap was great.
Everyone of the Admins of GBR should be very proud of what you have created. This is by far the best league I've ever been a part of.

Congrats Chris, Scott, and Dan on the wins last night!! I definitely like doing the reverse grid, made the race very entertaining. My only regret was giving Chris my tune before the race...lol. I think this is the 3rd time you've done that to me Chris, pass me on the last turn for the win!! Thanks to Jason & Dale for setting this up, I really enjoyed this mod even with some of its short comings. Thanks to Dan for the awesome skin, I don't think I could of won the CHAMPIONSHIP without it  Hopefully this mod will see some improvements that will make it enjoyable for Jeff and we can run it again next season. Thanks guys for another fun season racing the V8's. |

Last night was nuts. I went in feeling like I could maybe pull off a podium if I caught a couple breaks. Never once did I expect a win...let alone 2!  And for the record, you pretty much gifted me R1, Boza.  If you hadn't pushed wide into the grey stuff, I wouldn't have been able to make the pass. Race 2 I definitely had a lot of luck play into my favor. I kept waiting for someone to move left and close the inside line down...but it never happened so I stayed in it and got to P2 by T2. I was able to get a little breakaway which gave me enough cushion to hold it to the finish. Another 2 laps and it probably would've been a different story. I suspect I could have kept you at bay for only 1 more lap (even with your 2 tires off on the long straight). Thanks again for the set though. For the first time all season I felt like I could concentrate on driving instead of just trying to keep the car under me. |

Season 8 is officially complete. This was also our first season using rF2 and overall I think things went pretty smooth.
Thanks to everyone for participating and hope you guys had a good time. Congratulations to Boza on the Pro Championship and also to Dan on bringing home the Sportsman trophy. Lots of great battles throughout. I really liked how the two classes worked out and we will likely do this in the future.
Thanks also to Dale for hosting and for keeping the standings updated all season.
