Team racing guide: membersmedia.iracing.com/member_images/documents/About-Teams.pdfAnyone up for entering a GBR team? I figure 1 or 2 hour stints depending on personal preference? I'd organize the scheduling, etc. I think the optimal team would be 3-4 drivers with each running 2-3 hours in 1 or 2 stints each. At least one East Coast driver would be great as the start time is 5 AM Pacific
No stress racing though... if you (or I) bin it, then so be it.
At this point I have no preference for car. Choices are: Z4, Ruf Track, McLaren, GT40, HPD.
Tentative:
Hour | Driver | 0-1.5 | Dave
| 1.5-3.0 | Sheldon | 3.0-4.5 | Chris | 4.5-6.0 | Dale | 6.0-7.5 | Dave
| 7.5-9.0 | Sheldon
| 9.0-10.5 | Chris | 10.5-12 | Dale | . | . |
Yeah, that's right... my idea, I get to bring it home

I'd be in for the Mclaren, FGT or HPD.
I don't have the BMW or Ruf at this time.

I can't remember the last time I drove the HPD or the Ford GT. The McLaren is pretty dull but IIRC, the GT is grippy and fun.

Sure, looks like we have a team!
If there is more interest from other drivers we can shorten the stints to accommodate or if there is a lot more interest maybe we can enter two GBR teams. One GT and one HPD?

Talking with Chris tonight the Ford GT may be the leading choice but don't go buying anything until we decide for sure. Lots of time.

You know I would normally be all over this, but I work Saturdays from 7:00am to 3:30pm eastern time. I could still help if you need anyone to drive after 4:15pm eastern time. Any car is fine for me.

And I just noticed the Pacific Majors event is just a few days prior at Sebring. My 2 hour practice session!

I'm signed up for the Pacific Majors Series 2 Hours of Sebring on March 22nd. If we are in fact running the FGT GT3 for this, if you wanted to get me the skin prior to the 2 hour event I'll run it there as well.

Figured it was about time for a bump. I've only got the Mclaren to compare to.....and I like it a lot better than the Mclaren.

OK, I ran the Ford and McLaren. The FGT GT3 is a lot more fun. I'm fractionally quicker in the McL but it feels like shit and the brakes are worse than the Ford.
Since Chris is already using this car for an endurance race at the same track, we'll be better off with setup development as well since he'll have more seat time and a race distance in the car.
Ford GT40 GT3 it is.
