Wow...I should've stayed in bed. Sorry to those that got slowed up into T1 when the car spun.

Locked the rear brakes going into T1, car did a lazy spin and tapped the inside wall. Must've knocked the splitter off as the car felt fine until I went to turn into the next high speed corner and it just speared straight off the track into the wall taking heavy damage. 2 minutes in the pits for repairs after limping around the track. Car never felt right after that. Couldn't apply more than half throttle off the corner w/o the rears lighting up like a Christmas Tree. Said screw it and decided to go get ready for work. So pissed with myself still. Shame too, because I enjoy this track. Thanks for hosting Dave. Hopefully everyone else had a better night than I did. Cheers.

Memorable one to me, I have to say. That was tough, tough race...

First, right before I decided to enter the server...my HDMI cable went dead. What the hell...
I thought I was done for the night. But fortunately I had a VGA one in spare, and worked like a charm. Also fortunately I remembered that!

About the race itself, was meant to be hard looking at the Qualy times, very very close again with my usual rivals, with Boza taking Pole in the end with a great lap.
Race was tough, really. From the front row I pushed hard Boza since the very beggining, with Rich hitting my rear bump all the time.
With about 8 or 10 laps in, I realized that my front left tire would not hold the distance at that rate. So I had to change my lines and start to take care of that, and adapt to not loose pace. I think I did quite well in that. Rich was in a different strategy, so at that time was a 2 horse race.
When Boza and me entered together to the Pits, game was on to our crews! and my BMW crew didnt dissapointed again! I just pipped him in a extreme close call. Great stuff.
Was his time to put pressure on me. And was again a hard fight for a while. Until we had our coming together. I think I had the corner quite cleary, but, it happened. I spun, he also. Quickly I went back still on the lead. But my tires that were already in bad shape, went to crictical. And now Tony and Jeff are breathing on my neck ready to bite...oh shit...here we go again!
Never something like 20 minutes lasted so long. Jesus, looked like a 2 hour race.   
I kept my head down and pushing, keeping in mind the wear of the tires...and in the end I managed to Win another race. That was a hard one!

Those races are really great. With this Mod and this configurations, you have to be fast...but also is just as important, if not more important...be clever, smart, use your head, think about the scenarios, and create a strategy.

It cant get much better than that.

I was not feeling it last night. I had to force myself to get to the rig and was half asleep during practice. Once they didn't service my car for being too far right and forgetting not to take tires, my mind wandered. Hit the wall twice in the same spot on subsequent laps. ugh.

One race left - 90 minutes at Spa in two week's time.

First half of the race was a great battle with David. We swapped positions early with me passing him, but he was aggressive and got by me soon after. Then I was on his bumper until we entered the pits.

I decided to run Hards for the first time but the fronts were getting worn, so I only changed the fronts and filled the tank. Ran the entire race at Boost 1 and was able to have enough fuel for 1 stop for a change.
Second half of the race was me hot lapping by myself.

Then towards the end of the race I see Rich fly out of the pits and I think I might have somebody to battle. Halfway through that lap he was already 4 seconds ahead of me and I could tell he was on a mission for a top 5. By the end of the race he was 20+ seconds ahead of me.

I was pretty much in the zone until the last lap and my mind wandered and I missed my braking point on turn 1. I hit the wall and did some serious damage but I was able to limp the car around 1 last lap to finish.

Congrats to the podium and see you guys in 2 weeks at Spa!!!

I figured at the 30 min mark you would also be pitting and I was ready for a quick break. I wasn't as upset as you were by your pit stop problems, but I was hoping to beat you out of the pits, but just barely so we could continue our battle for the rest of the race.

Congrats Angelo and congrats to Tony and Jeff for finishing out the podium. First of all I have to apologize to Angelo and Tony for that incident after we pitted. I thought I saw an opening and I tried to squeeze in there, I had no business doing that. I was getting desperate cause I knew I wasn't going to have too many chances to try and pass you. We were having a nice battle up until then. Well deserved win. BTW my pit crew is fired!!!!
