Completely unplanned but this was my (appropriate) shirt for the race tonight. No, I'm not a busty chick... the shirt is laying on a pillow...

Thanks again for everybody that was able to come out last night. Thank you for being patient with me as I try to learn how to host a series. Congrats to the podium and to Tony for the Trifecta! Nice job Tony on the Pole, fastest lap and win. The event started off great, with a few guys jumping in after the qualification session. I was happy that Ced, Robb and Rich were able to join the race. After a few restarts the race was on and Tony never looked back. Angelo was being a bit too conservative with his fuel and was unable to reel Tony in. Dale and Jeff had a good battle going on for 3rd and Jimmy spent the race hotlapping with no hopes of catching Dale or Jeff. Jimmy also had a nice scare on lap 20 when his computer decided it was time to look at the desktop. Luckily this happend after turn 3 on Reta Oposta and he was able to not hit anything and get back into rFactor and continue. Dan had gumbled early on during practice that he wasn't a fan of Interlagos, but changed his mind after the race. Seems the right car at the right track can really make a difference. Ced thought he would show his respect to the host from Texas with a little Car-B-Que. I appreciate the gesture Ced! Sheldon took a chance to try and get one more lap out of his Lola but she was too thirsty and he ran out of gas before making it to pit entry. Also, Sheldon was doing his best Ricky (from Trailer Park Boys) and talking about Robb like Robb was Mr. Lahey. It is a good thing Robb had Sheldon muted in TS otherwise I am sure Robb would have unleashed a SHITNAMI tidal wave that will engulf Sheldon and extinguish his shit flames forever...shit waves...! Joe decided to find a nice spot in the infield and park to watch the rest of the race. Robb decided to join him for some hot Car-on-Car action as they tried to distract the rest of the field with their display. Rich joined us for the fun a bit late so we let him have a few minutes on the track to get a feel, after about 4 corners he was ready to go. We all did our best Fantomas impression waiting for Rich to come join the fun. And finally after a very long hiatus from GBR, Heartburn aka Geoff aka Jimmy's boss made an appearance. I know his rig and PC had been under construction for a while but after a few weeks of PC hardware headaches and money spent on upgrades he is back in the seat. Hope to see everybody and a few more in 2 weeks as we travel to Jolly old England and take on Silverstone. JImmy

Congrats to Tony, perfect drive. I dont think that even going flat out all the way, I could have beat him. Maybe finish 10secs behind instead of 20! Those P2s have some differences between them, specially in power. The Accura is the most powerful one, according with the specs. So maybe this is a factor to chose a car for the season.
I intend to stick with the Lola Nissan, though.
Thanks Jimmy, for the effort. I hope everything goes well for this series.

X 2 Thanks Jimmy, good write up. It was great fun last night and the cars seemed manageable for everyone. Good heads up driving by everyone so thanks for checking your mirrors / track map. I had a blast last night and congrats to Angelo and Jeff on their podium finishes. I am looking forward to the series, these cars are awesome to drive and very forgiving when on the ragged edge which is great for wheel to wheel stuff. Two thumbs up!
