I'll be here, running cold with no practice.

Had to have some Aussie 80's references (BMX Bandits) and Canadian 80's too(YCDTOTN). I grew up watching YCDTOTV and still think it is one of the greatest kids shows ever! I never wanted to eat at Barf's but I did want to hang out at Blip's Arcade, stop the execution, tell lame jokes in the lockers. I also had a thing for Moose.

I never watched that show although I do remember it. I'm a non-typical Canadian... for me the 80's were mostly about Monty Python, Doctor Who, SCTV and David Letterman (the original NBC show). I liked ALF though!

A canadian 80's kid that didn't watch YCDTOTV? How have you not been kicked out of Canada yet?

That was great fun guys, thanks again for coming out.
Congrats to Jeff on second place and JImmy on an excellent 3rd place finish. Way to tough it out Dan and you finished 4th, great job man. Reminds me of Gerhard Berger driving his Ferrari F1 with burned and bandaged hands in 1989. He crashed at Tamburello corner at Imola at 180 mph, missed the following Hungarian GP and was driving with broken ribs and burnt hands in Mexico missing only one race (of course he was aided by Ferrari's revolutionary semi automatic paddle shift that was gentle on the hands).
As usual, great driving by all, sorry to see a couple blown engines cutting their fun short.
See you all at Cota, thanks again to JImmy for putting on this awesome series.
Cheers.

Results updated. RESULTSPoints and standings will be updated soon. Small turnout of 8 but it sounded like everybody had a good time. I Had a blast battling Dan, and I am sure if his shoulder was 100% it would have been a battle all the way to the end of the race. It seems that this layout was new to just about everyone so practice was crucial. Looking forward to COTA, hope to see everybody there, and maybe we can get a few more to show up.

My first engine failure of the year. It was fun while it lasted. See you guys next week. Do you know what caused it? I guess my pitstop just took to long. It was only for tires and fuel though. I turned repair body off. The only thing I can think of that might have made it go is I had my rad set to 1. I don't know.

That will do it Scott, I never run less than 2 and a place like Monaco for instance I would open it up more.

Uncharacteristic messy race for me. Trying to hard to keep up w/ Hooper...and it bit me. Had fun race w/ Dan at the end, even if it wasn't for position.
