I just figured out how to get the trackmap plugin to work with GSC. Install, then change the GSC.exe to rFactor.exe and bingo, it works!

Awesome Scott. I was wondering if that would work. Anyone able to get Fanaleds working with the CSW? Mine isn't.

I like these cars, great sounds. but no matter how I tune it, it always seems to have a lot of push going in to the corners, and way to much grip in the rear end, I can't throttle steer at all.

I am getting a bit of push as well, but messed with tire pressures and roll bars a little bit and feels quite a bit better. I lowered the tire pressure a hair on the front and a few clicks at the rear. Increase your rear ARB a bit and that should loosen up the back end.

I installed the Steam version last night and crashed again on the server. As a test I fired up my own server and it worked fine. Dale's new server just doesn't like me I guess. I remember you having problems for a brief time the last time I moved servers and then it went away. Very strange.

I like these cars, great sounds. but no matter how I tune it, it always seems to have a lot of push going in to the corners, and way to much grip in the rear end, I can't throttle steer at all. The base setup has too soft of spring tension in the front causing all the weight to overload the front causing the car to plow through turns. lower your front arb 1 -2 clicks add 2 clicks to front spring tension to start. You may need to fine tweak the rear for better rotation mid corner lower a click or 2 rear spring tension and raise the rear chamber slightly. I've found through most the corners on this track to be bumpy mid turn and exit and with tightening up the rear with spring and arb I wasn't able to get the power down and drive full throttle out of the corners and resulted in a few unexpected spins. I am not sure I'll be able to make this exhibition race as I thought it was this wed and not next which is unfofunately my day 1 at work Overall I am loving these cars and can't wait for the release of the new tire model which will include flat spotting, dirt/marble pickup and a new ffb/physics update! @hawks I came across this thread regarding fanaleds www.racedepartment.com/threads/problem-with-fanaleds.105005/

@ Scott Beck.....how is that spotter addon working? is it fully functional in race? there was one kicking around that i tried a while back, it worked decently in practice and quali but once in a race the spotter would go silent and the program reportedly caused stuttering with some system configs.

Well the one I'm using isn't causing any stuttering on my system. I haven't tried it in race conditions, only practice. I suppose I better give it a try to make sure it works. I'll post the results here.

Hmmmm I've had no problem spinning the car when getting on the throttle too early. Check your options and see if any of the driving aids are on?

Thanks Dave. I did get it working by changing the GSC.exe to rFactor.exe as Scott suggested regarding GID. It also worked for Fanaleds, so should be good to go.
