Sorry for asking again but could one of the moderators be able to confirm if the Dec 30th race will be a race night or an off week due to the holidays? I am currently lining up guys at work to fill in for me on race nights so I can participate in this season.  Also any idea how many races the season will be? Cheers |

Cheers Hi David - I should have the schedule out by this weekend. We are planning a 10 event season. We will have a race on 12/30. The last race of the season will be April 6th (assuming we don't have any technical issues that extend the season for some reason). |

thanks for the info, sorry for sounding like a nag I know you guys are finalizing all the details Just trying to plan ahead and get as many race nights covered so i can participate as much as possible, really looking forward to this! Cheeers |

Guys, I may have a problem to enter this series. Not only me, but Ricardo aswell, since we live in the same city...Brasilia, here in Brazil.
The time schedule.
I failed to realize the huge difference in time that is in place now, that you from North America dont have daylight savings anymore, and here in Brazil we have it for now.
Normally, GBR races start Qualy at 11:15PM for me, with the old schedule. Now Qualy will start at 1:15AM for us, which is insane, of course.
I will try my best but cant guarantee anything...same goes for Ricardo, that said to me he cant commit for the season.
We realized that yesterday, and of course, both of us are dissapointed, as we were looking forward to it.
Being a hardcore racer, I may even find a way to race this...but this is not good to anyone´s health, and I had a health issue during our last season with the RSM Mod that left kind of a trauma in me, so Im avoiding go this far. I dont know.
I cant ask you guys to start your events an hour earlier just because of us, so better let you know.

Understandable, Angelo. I couldn't race until nearly 3 AM then go to work the next day.

That's sad Angelo, but shit happens bud. It's to bad we can't start an hour earlier, but half our members are west coasties and can't be on any earlier.
One day maybe our North American countries will realize we don't need the time change anymore.
I'll keep your cars in the pack for when and if you can jump in.

 The season 10 schedule has been released. Thank you Dave for making the awesome graphic. I have also uploaded all of the tracks and posted the first race event thread. Be sure to get your custom skins in to Dan before November 25th (if you plan on making one). We will release the official skin pack shortly after that and EVERYONE will need to download and install it or you will get a mismatch. For now the server is just using the default skins obviously, but once the official skin pack is out, the server will be updated. Looking forward to a fun season! |

Hey guys, I've decided that I will not be staying aboard in the V8 series. Right now, I just don't have the time to split between two series and I think that sticking to just one series (the Corvettes on rF2) is going to be best.
Once we move in April, and my workday commute is a fraction of what it is now, I should be able to dedicate more practice time to more than one series. Have fun and I'll see you out there next time.
