Another Mod you guys might like to check out is. NAGT v1.6 (North American GT) Well made and very nice looking cars, physics are really good and it supports Real Feel. www.thepits.us/?page_id=8Cars in this Mod. Aston Martin DBRS9 (only one skin I think) Cadillac CTS-V Camaro GTR Challenger GTR (The K&N one is mine if anyone runs this) Corvette C6 (only one skin) Dodge Viper CC Mustang Cobra Mazda RX8 Pontiac GTO Porsche 996GT3 Nisan Skyline GT-R Volvo S60-R All cars are 2000-2010 as far as I can tell, and all are race versions, no street cars. Templates are available to down load. It shows up as a .MAN file, but 7zip will open it. Grand Am addon for above mod. 24.242.51.143:10001/Mods/R2P_GrandAm2010.exe

I really like the Skoda Octavia Cup 06 / 07 / 08 v3.10. Ran this mod with the CMS Racing guys in their Fun Series a couple months ago. The cars arent super fast, but handle really well and are good for small to medium tracks. docs.google.com/open?id=0ByUArqbz4KsuVE1iSzJmWG1JV2c

Going to DL this (along w/ the Grand Am add-on) in the next day or two. Enduracers & FIA GT3 have really lit my GT fires. Be a perfect break in for the new rig. ;D

I wasn't sure where to post this... Two things: (regarding rFactor)
1. What is the "best" mod for 80/90's turbo F1 era?
2. Would anyone consider doing a series around it?
I really enjoyed racing rFactor last night and want to do some more...

The '79 F1 mod is awesome. Helios is actually using the tracks from this mod for the DRM's. Extremely detailed.
I ran a few laps with it a month or two ago and I was impressed, but I'm not a big F1 guy either. Not sure if this is what you would be looking for.
Great to see you getting the rFactor itch Bash. It's contagious that's for sure.

If we are going to do an F1 series, please count me in. We can do the '79 mod that Hawks mentions above. Other options include the Sandrox mod (more modern, though), as well as rFactor 2, which already has some kick ass F1 cars and tracks.
Our second rFactor 2 March event will be the F1 at Portugal. My guess is that guys will love it. The track looks great and the FFB and physics are amazing, particularly with my F1 rim for the T500.

I tried the 79 mod and I remember it being beastly. I need to install it again and give her another go, along with the 2012 one. I am a big F1 fan so would love to mess around with these.
