Two choices:
1) There is an Add Attachment button on the Reply editor
2) Upload it to Dropbox or whatever and post a link here.

It hasn't been tested extensively so please, have at it and let me know what you think. I did a few laps at Sebring and it felt pretty good to me. I was running in the mid 2:03's to mid 2:04's on a track that was at a temperature of about 100 degrees.
I haven't done extended laps to evaluate tire degradation or fuel consumption, yet. I hope to do that soon. When I get some free time.

I will be running with another team again. Just some advice to help with your preparation. Do your testing with default temperature. The endurance series uses default temperature for all the races.

iRacing announced on FB that there will be four time-slots for the race. I feel like this dilutes the event a bit. Thoughts?

I feel like it dilutes it a lot. Kind of depressing. I can see possibly 2 times for the shorter races (6hr), but not the 12/24 hour races.

There was something cool about everyone starting at the same time and being mixed in with other nationalities which will be lost here. We probably won't see the Aussie and Asian teams at all.
I think on the shorter events that iRacing takes a lot of flak because of the NA-focused time slot so I see what they're doing. The only good thing I see is if our race is ruined by an early incident that Sunday gives another chance... but that's opposite to the way to think about endurance events which is dealing with those things.

Everything I read on the forums is that they are trying to spread out the starts to deal with their less than stellar (read: shitty) servers. EVeryone is basically saying the 1300 GMT race is THE race (SOF) so we should focus on that. I would guess at least 75% of the teams will do that if not more.

What you will see, is a lot of people dropping out early in the early races if they have a little cock up. You'll probably see more brazzen pass attempts...because "hey, if I fuck up, we'll just reset in a couple hours". I personally prefer going in with the intent to run the single race. If we cock it up, we cock it up. On the flip side, we'll probably have a lot of attrition positions.

Yeah I was wondering if it was a load-spreading tactic. Pretty crappy move if so. You don't adjust the event rules because your system sucks... oh wait, that's what F1 just did with qualifying.

I'm just now turning my attention to this and will run some practice this week. Anyone want to do a beer and BSing test and tune session this Friday around 6:30 Pacific?
I just realized that we're running this a few days after a massive update. New UI, DX11, and maybe the failed website updates from the last update are coming next Tuesday. Also new cars (but that doesn't affect this event). Yikes.
