OK, I finaly picked this up and got it running sort of.

It would not start from Steam at all, so I went and added the key to U Play manually, so then it would start but gave me crap about U Play being turned off, so it locked up.
Then it got to the first screen where it gives the epilepsy warning, then hung on the next screen, it did this to me on every new screen, start then hang, start then hang one screen farther in. I had to do this over and over till it finally got to the game itself, once in it seems to run fine, no lag no stutter, but it locks up every once in a while, but when I restart it makes it all the way to the game and runs fine, for a while.

So I need to figure out why it's locking up before I can ask either of you to run with me.

I have noticed (on my system anyway) that I have to remove all my peripherals first. No Joysticks, Wheels, etc. Just Mouse and my G13 Gamepad. If I leave any of those other control peripherals plugged in, the game freaks the f**k out!

Try that if you haven't already.

Thanks for tips Kelly. I had the same problems as Dan when I booted up or tried to boot up the game.

That did help me get it up and running faster, but it still locks up at random times once in game, very hard to get passed any missions.
Sent my specs and info off to the Devs for help.
