V8 Supercars - Event 6 - Phillip Island - 02/10/16

Yeah, that pit out was ridiculous. I just about hit it the first couple times I left pit road. This is the only version of this track that I've encountered that.

Had a decent night of racing in both heats. 2 top 5s, yeah baby (gunning for ya JImmy ). A little gutted my connection dropped...as it was shaping up to be a hell of a battle with Dale going into the final lap. I was setting up to hopefully draft past down the front straight into to Doohan.

Also had a long side by side run with Rich...pretty much from Lukey Heights (T10) all the way into Southern Loop (T2) when we had a little contact (Sweeney! ). It was definitely pucker time running side by side through the last corner onto the front straight & into Doohan.

Had a good time racing last night. Sorry for my technical issues that held us up, but glad I got it sorted out.

Race 1 was a blast. Excellent back and forth battle with Dale and Ricardo.

Race 2 was a different story. I knew I couldn't make softs last, so tried the hard tires. Had a good run with Jimmy early on, but then spent 40 minutes skating on ice, struggling to keep the car under me and mostly running by myself.
Kept waiting for the tires to find grip, but they never did. Still enjoyed the company though.
