Looking at the race start time and the number of laps you ran, you disconnected right around 7:30 give or take a few minutes. Same for the Corvette race. Coincidence?
If you don't mind, PM me your IP address. I'll run a test program and ping you every minute overnight to see if there's an issue between you and the server.

I dont know, I dont even know how to search for errors on my system. This odd connections lost Im getting only here...with my Modem fully in operation and the connection stable.
In other places eventually I got a disconnection, but is the usual one...a drop here at home.
Is really, really frustring.
Anyway, race 1 was just great, battling Dale all race long, and overcoming a slight freeze to overtake him a second time. Was a really hard race. Race 2....I really wanted to see how the strategy would unfold....so major bummer.
Hope for better luck next time.

I already see a difference.
Montreal -> You = 50% packet loss at a hop in Florida. My house -> You = 0% packet loss at every hop.
I'll update in the morning.

Despite technical issues, Angelo has the championship pretty well locked up. With small fields and 300 points available to the winner at the endurance event, he pretty well just has to start Bathurst to win.

A good night racing for me. I seem to have figured out the tires in this sim/mod. Too bad I didn't do that earlier in the season! Race 1: A great battle with Angelo. I was on his bumper for most of the race then he blinked out, reappeared in the grass and rejoined behind me. I wasn't sure which one of us discoed and whether or not I'd knocked him off the track. That was distracting me and he was able to pass me and restore his position. Race 2: Clearly Angelo was on a different strategy as he was flying. I couldn't stay with him with a full-race fuel load and I decided to run my own race and protect tires and see what happened. My guess was that he was planning a pitstop so I needed to forget about him. As I was wrapping my head around strategy he disconnected . After that it was just a matter of maintaining a gap back to Jeff. That gap changed through the race as our tires heated/cooled/weared. I think at about 6 or 7 laps left I realized he was out of tire and I could take it easy to the finish.

I like this track. It kinda feels like Hidden Valley. Settled in surprisingly quick considering I had never seen the track before logging in last night. I was wrestling w/ the cooling system in the GTi after work...which was why I was so late joining the server. Race 1 I took myself out with a spin...after running nearly a full lap side by side w/ Ricardo off the start. I had another long side by side battle w/ JImmy later in the race until he dropped back w/ a half spin. Race 2 would've been interesting to see if I had anything for Jeff. Unfortunately an incident at T1 on lap 2 pretty much took me out of any chance for battling the top guys at the finish. I was slowly clawing back up to Ricardo when he dove for the pits. Knowing he was going to be out on fresh tires I tried maintain my 11s to hopefully keep enough of a gap to make it to the finish. I was watching the gap close, then open back up. I can only assume Ricardo was pushing really hard to close the gap and possibly had a couple off tracks because of it. Tickled w/ a 3rd...though it does feel kinda stolen after Angelo's disco. Hopefully we can figure out what's going on.

I want to apologize again to Chris for the bump at turn 1. I wasn't expecting you to slow down that quickly and that's when you got the tap. I felt really bad and was going to give you the spot back as soon as you got near me. But then I goofed turn 2 when you did catch up and away you went. I was surprised I didn't get a disco last night. We had a pretty severe hail storm blow through during race 2. I knew a bad storm was on its way before the race. The only reason I know when the storm hit is because my wife came into the room. I figured something was up because she is usually asleep. I moved my headphones and could hear the hail pounding the roof. This of course distracted me even further and I blew another corner. I need to get back to my normal practice schedule because I cannot Sherburn a race. I was messing with my tune before qualy and was able to pick up some time but I really wasn't prepared. Bathurst is always a tough track so I know I need to get plenty of practice laps in before hand.

All good JImmy. Shit happens. I was even a little later on the brakes than normal (which is why I was hauling down a bit harder) to hopefully leave you more room in the braking zone. That didn't work out so well though. It picked the back end up and away I went. I didn't get the clutch in quick enough, so I had to get it refired before I could get rolling again.

My race went to crap the second the flag dropped. I'm used to having to compensate for changes in shadows from practice to qually and race, but for some reason I could not do it last night, take turn two, in practice I used the 100 and 50 sign as well as a shadow from something to get my brake zone, was running 1.11's and feeling pretty good about another battle with Jimmy. During the race the shadow was gone completely so I used what I thought was the same area between the 100 and 50 signs, but I kept sliding right off the track and just could not get it slowed down. The track was so much brighter that to me it seemed as though all my brake points from practice had been white washed away, so when I did run a complete lap my fastest was a 1.14:+, I've never had the shadows cause that much difference, it was horrible.
But like I said after the race, it seems like anytime I get a good rhythm going in practice, I always seem to kill the car in the races.

I learned a while ago to use static objects as brake markers. Bathurst is another track that'll kill you if you use shadows as brake markers.
Practice, quali and race times are defined by the track maker to some extent. I think we only get to control race time. We haven't done it lately but Hawks and I sometimes will accelerate the time scale to get interesting lighting changes in endurance races.
