I really loved this track except for that damn wall! I was having a great race in race 1 but got a little sloppy on that corner and The Wall caught me. Same thing for race 2. Congrats to Angelo for the wins and to Dale and Chris for surviving race 2 long enough to get 2nd and 3rd. 7 racers started race 2 and only 3 finished.
Glad Jason and Sheldon could take part in 1 race. Good to see them back on the grid.

Started feeling a flow to the track by the end of Race 1. Started feeling comfortable so started pushing in Race 2...which was ultimately my downfall. I'm just glad I didn't take out Jeff in my wreck, though it sounds like he got caught in another one later.
Gutted for Ed. I was really hoping to see him get on the podium.

Had fun while it lasted, but it didn't last long. I clipped the wall and it sent my car spinning and destroyed the engine. Still scratching my head why it was such a hard impact when it appeared I just scraped it. Also not sure why it killed my engine, but oh well. Love the GBR THE WALL logo Jimmy!

I had the exact same thing happen on the left hand wall before the prior turn. Fortunately it didn't take out the engine and I was able to limp around to the pits for 6 minutes in damage repair. I think Ed & Dan's wrecks were very similar.
I felt pretty bad about wrecking in front of Jeff, but after watching the replay, he had room, and he was right where he needed to be. If and that's a big IF, but if he touched the wall it was very light, but from what I could see, it looks more like an invisible wall piece snagged his car, if the collision box for that wall was smooth as it should be, he should have slipped through with nothing but a scratch on the fender, if that. I still feel bad, because if I hadn't been there he could have used any line, but i don't feel as bad because it looks like a track problem killed him. As for myself, I should have settled in and just held my pace till Jeff forced the issue, but nooooo!! I had to see if there was anyway to catch or at-least make up some time on Angelo, so I was trying to squeeze every inch out of the track to keep the momentum going. Oh well, live and learn.
