Ok... I think I know what my problem was, I think. Last time I could not log in I did a visual inspection of my files to make sure I didn't add or remove anything, and everything looked good. I did the fresh install and it let me on the server, but then I had to wonder where it got my name and settings from, after all it's a fresh install, I even deleted all the old folders to make sure it was clean before downloading again. So I looked in the game files and could not find my files (UserData/Dan Wheat,...etc) I found them in Documents/Auto.../userdata. But before they were in the game itself also. So maybe I had them in two places before the fresh install. I'm thinking I copied my files over from GSC to save time and it worked off line so I thought it was good. EDIT: Or it could have been whatever you found Dale  Who knows.... |

Interesting set of races. Thanks for that, Dale. This car definetely deservers a proper series. Although I have a feeling that Jeff and maybe Chris disagree...  Apart from physics...so good and challenging, I found quite interesting the tire wear. With 13 laps we already felt it...so in a 40 minutes race or something strategy can have a significant impact. |
