Awesome racing. Too bad we lost a few drivers, but still we have 8. We have potential for a grid of 12 cars.
I enjoyed a lot the night. Despite the problems with the game minimazing with no reason, very annoying. Thanks for restart race 2 for me, guys.
Race 1 I coundt keep up with a very fast Rich, who was flying, and settled for 2nd.
Race 2, I knew that my only shot was at the start, I needed track position to beat Rich. I focused on that and it worked well. I took the lead at T1, and then drove my absolute best all race to keep him behind me! Very intense racing. Eternal 20 minutes.

Thanks for everybody that could make it last night. 12 cars would have been a blast but I understand real life gets in the way. Apologies to Jeff for the bump in race 1. I think the draft in these cars works way better than I am used to you because I came up on Jeff very quickly going into the last chicane. I had a good battle with Chris in race 2. Just a few bobbles here and there and I would catch him, but then I would have a slight ooopsie and then he would be gone. Great racing all around last night.
I will try to have the server up tonight. I need to build the real road file offline and load onto the server otherwise the new track will be green with no rubber. I think Winton will need all the rubber it can get!

Struggled last night, but all in all it was a good time. R1 I just pushed too hard trying to stay in front of Jeff after him & Jimmy tangoed at the final chicane. Ended up overdriving into the hairpin and went lawnmowing. Great scrap in R2 w/ Jimmy though. He'd bobble, I'd stretch the gap a bit. Then I'd bumble, and he'd be right back on my bumper again. Then he'd bobble. Then I'd bumble. Rinse and repeat all the way to the finish.  |
