I know Dale & I are planning on fielding a car again this year. I know it's not a popular car among most here, but figured I would at least put a thread together in case others wanted to find guys to team up with. The race is about 6 hours long.

Just a reminder for anyone else thinking of running, it's this weekend.

I was interested in running this race, but I am extremely busy currently so no time to practice And with this car (and track) I would definitely need practice, lots... so I won't be able to make the race.

Just about done with the paint. Fingers crossed Dale and I don't have issues with the nasty storms rolling in this weekend...

Lap 67 of 161 and we are in P1 of our split. We are using less fuel than the P2 car so the final pit stops will be interesting.

Chris just pitted and rejoined in P1 by 1 second. Our fuel saving strategy may work out.

Bittersweet P5 at the end of the day. Any other day we would've been thrilled w/ a top 5 at Bathurst...but having a good chance at victory slip through our fingers is a little gutting, and makes it a little difficult to look at the successes of the day. In the big picture: We were competitive on pace at the front, never dropping below 5th and even leading for a good chunk of the race (passed 1st on track, not in the pits). We had a total of 8 incident points between us...and 4 of those were from when I got punted early in the first stint at The Chase. We had less repair time than year. Even with the damage repair, we still finished only 1 lap down. Really all in all it was a very successful race...and a blast. Just a little gut wrenching while it's still fresh. Next year Dale. We got this!
