And Dale, not many people can pull out a Greg the Bunny reference. Kudos to you brother. Another classic show gone to soon. Yeah, that was a great show, blah. Somewhere on an old HDD I have a bunch of IFC shorts of GtB before the TV show. There's a good one where Greg annoys the actor that played Darth Vader (David Prowse).

Here's a shot of what Road America looks like with my AMS. The track is almost pure white in most spots. There is only a slight rubber line in the corners.

View AttachmentI don't see what your talking about Scott? The track is the color of concrete in that pic, the stripes on the roadside are white. Now having said that, I have not looked at the track in game yet. I would be distracted more by the spotty window banner in the car.

Like I said, the track looks very white to me. Now that I'm looking at that picture, it looks much better than in the game. My other tracks look pretty good compared to Road America.

Did you try higher graphics settings Scott? Try to put all Max and see how it goes.

Generally if the screenshot looks better than what you see on screen then I suspect the monitor settings. Monitor should be in Game or Movie or Neutral modes (Game will be a little more saturated than the other two) and not something like Vivid or Vibrant, set for sRGB colour mode, have any "enhancements" turned off and Gamma at 2.2 or PC. You should also check that all video driver settings are at default. Nvidia drivers, for example, have sliders that adjust the image. I have never felt the need to touch them if a monitor is set up right. Also ensure you've got brightness/contrast set right. If you can't see the 8 distinct dark and 8 distinct bright bars under Section 2 of this link, then you need to adjust. www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/monitor-calibration.htm

I'm about to grab a frosty beverage and get a few last laps of practice in for 2016 if anyone is thinking of jumping on the the server. Cheers.

Well I went through all the settings and seem to have made it look better. The track isn't as white as it was before. It looks more like a real track.

3 questions -
How do I install the skin pack? Is this the Patrick Giranthon 3 season version of the track? How do I connect to the server?
Happy New Year!

Disregard question 3. I found the thread with the instructions on how to join the server. I just need the password. I will look for it.
